A Day To Remember recently wrapped up a spring tour. The band has a few festival dates coming up but other than that, you might not be seeing them play live for a while. Our very own Keeyahtay Lewis had the privilege of speaking with the band’s guitarist Neil Westfall before their recent show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ (check out the review/photos here)

Few things make us happier than to hear that Saint Motel will be releasing their debut full length album this summer! Voyeur is set to be released on July 10th. The band’s new single “1997″ is up online now streaming and for download. It has that holiday tune feel to it. It’s really great. Listen to it (and download it) below:

In 2005 The Audition released Controversy Loves Company. I think I saw them open up for someone else shortly after at The Stone Pony. I picked up that album and I wore it out. For the next year or so it was in constant rotation in my cd player. When I heard that they were on tour supporting Eve 6, I knew I had to check them out. It had been too long. And with Eve 6, …

Last year Thrice announced that they would be going on hiatus after a final tour. For those who know me, it is well known that Thrice is my favorite band. So this made me a little bummed, but I knew it would also mean that I would get a chance to see them at least a couple more times. Thursday night, May 24, was the first of two nights I would be seeing them. They came into …

It’s still hard to get a handle on just how big Foster the People has become in just over a year. Now several tours into supporting their debut LP ‘Torches’, this current spring tour (apparently the last one in support of the album) started on May 29th in New York’s Central Park and sees the band playing their biggest venues to date, including three sold out stops at the New York venue. Supporting the band on the …

We like to reserve our “Song of the Day” feature for songs that we’ll be playing non-stop throughout the day. They’re not always cheery, in fact most of the time they’re not. We could probably feature a different Morrissey song every time but we’re going to go with some really good new music from one of our favorite Australian bands, Cameras. They made their US debut at Culture Collide and CMJ last year (they played our party, they were …

Citizen Cope (songwriter and producer Clarence Greenwood) is proud to announce the release of his fifth album, ‘One Lovely Day’ (July 17, Rainwater Recordings / MRI / RED). Recorded in Brooklyn and written / produced by Clarence, the sounds on ‘One Lovely Day’ are Southern rural, big sky lonely, concrete urban, and painfully romantic.

For over a decade, Citizen Cope has been building a profoundly dedicated following, tirelessly bringing his urban folk—with a band or simply his guitar— to far …
