Welcome Back, Rob Stevenson, You *******

Rob Stevenson’s back in the saddle again. After being canned from his post of Executive VP of Island Def Jam a few months ago, EMI’s bringing him in to be the new President of Virgin in the US. I believe that was Lee Trink’s old post. He’ll report to Nick Gatfield who’s the new President of A&R In North America, UK & Ireland (and Mars). Rob is known for signing The Killers, Fall Out Boy, Sum 41, The Bravery and A LOT of shitty bands. Many of his shitty bands were on his label/imprint Stolen Transmission through Universal. Rob was a total douche to me in my brief encounters with him and I was sort of happy to see him fired, mainly because I’m a little bitter and jaded towards the music industry but I digress. Just remember Rob, for every Fall Out Boy, there were at least five A Hero From A Thousand Paces! Good luck, fucker.
