Contrary to rumors started by homeless people, Sammy Hagar didn’t leave Van Halen because of his Cabo Wabo tequila. It turns out that guitarist Eddie Van Halen was being influenced by his then manager (in 04, Irving Azoff?) and by alcohol and drugs. Sammy says that Eddie was threatened by Sammy and his leadership in the band. It’s a shame. The Perv had a chance to see the band back in 2004 and they put on an excellent show WITH Michael Anthony. Screw you Eddie for getting rid of him and bringing in your son Wolfgang Puck. As we all know now, Anthony and Hagar are in a new band with Joe Satriani and Chad Smith (drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers) called Chickenfoot. I hope it kicks VH’s ass.

Van Halen has and always be David Lee Roth, not Hagar The Horrible
VH sucks! Not only did they give Michael Anthony a raw deal but they never truly appreciated Sammy. Go Chickenfoot!
Van Hagar was the best and more popular version of Van Halen, and the music made more sence and was a lot more perfect in production.
