The first set of bands for this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival (July 17-19) have been announced. Built To Spill, Yo La Tengo, Tortoise, The National, The Walkmen, Grizzly Bear, The Jesus Lizard, Vivian Girls, Pharoahe Monch, and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are confirmed so far. Fans will also be able to select the setlists of the bands that perform on Friday night. To pick the songs, fans who buy tickets online will receive a confirmation email that will include a link to a page where they can vote on which of each band’s songs they’d like to hear during their set. Voting starts when tickets go onsale next Friday March 13th.
