For those of you who think that the best music comes out of the east coast, you’re totally wrong. Out of Hawaii and now California, you will find one of the hottest new rock bands, Pacifica. With influences ranging from Circa Survive to Radiohead, Pacifica brings you a new form of experimental alternative screamo rock on their EP, “Transient Colors.” This EP is my new driving music. In fact, I ended up getting pulled over while listening to it! (Favorite track: 10 Hours in a Forest).

Having already compiled an impressive resume (winning Battle of the Bands from Breakthru Entertainment and KUCD Star 101.9 Hawaii, playing festivals like Audio Overload and Bayfest, opening for Papa Roach, Finch, Emery, Daphne Loves Derby and more), Pacifica has created an amazing hypnotic/trance-inducing live show that reminiscent of an At The Drive In or …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead concert.
