We’re thrilled to let you know that one of our favorite songs of the year, “I’ve Got Friends” by Manchester Orchestra, is available as a free download right now here. Yes, they want your name, email, city/state and D.O.B. but you can always give them your friends info. Just make sure that you give your email address because thats where they send you the link. Screw all that, just go to http://tinyurl.com/ivegotfriendsmp3 and you can get the song directly without sharing your info.

You may have noticed Frank Turner getting more and more popular over the past year. He had been tearing it up in the UK and then he signed to Epitaph Records and then went on tour with The Offspring and Sum 41. On August 31st, he’ll release a digital only single “The Road” off of his new album Poetry Of The Deed through Xtra Mile Recordings/Epitaph Records. The album comes out a week later. Alex Newport (Death Cab For Cutie, At The Drive-In, Two Gallants) produced the record and we’re sure that it’s going to be on a lot of year end top 10 lists. Check out Frank Turner at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, opening for The Gaslight Anthem in September in the US and headlining in the UK in October. For more info on Frank Turner and to listen to “The Road,” go to myspace.com/frankturner.
