We recently had a chance to speak with Steve Mazur, the guitarist from Our Lady Peace. We learned about how Our Lady Peace recorded their new album Burn Burn, Steve’s favorite OLP songs to play live, the freedom the band had in releasing their new album without outside interference, how the band has matured and much more. Except for a few shows and festivals, the band had been gone for four years. Where were you guys and did the time off help?

Did you consider bringing in an outside producer on this album or were you set on producing yourselves with Raine?
