(Via Billboard.com) ‘FUGITIVE’ APPREHENDS NO. 1: David Gray’s fourth No. 1 on Triple A (viewable on billboard.biz), “Fugitive,” completes his first set of back-to-back leaders. “You’re the World to Me” ruled for eight weeks in 2007-08. Gray previously topped the chart with “Babylon” for two weeks in 2000 and “The One I Love” for six weeks in 2005.

Among solo artists, only Sheryl Crow (seven), Jack Johnson (six) and John Mayer (five) can boast more No. 1s in the chart’s 13-year history. You can stream the track “Fugitive” here and watch the video here.

It was also just announced that The World Cafe will be broadcasting the David Gray session on Friday, September 18, 2009. Fans can listen on WXPN in Philadelphia or connect to the WXPN Philadelphia stream Friday 9/18, 2pm to 4pm EST, here.

The new album Draw the Line is out September 22. The tour begins October 23 at the Wang Theatre in Boston. For more info, go to www.davidgray.com
