Boston’s most talked about rock quartet, TAB the Band is back releasing their new single “Bought and Sold” on October 13th through iTunes and Amazon. “Bought and Sold” which was mixed by Ken Andrews (Beck, Pete Yorn, & Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) is the first of three singles set to release in the next few months leading up to their third studio LP, Zoo Noises in early 2010. This four-some consisting of Tony Perry (guitar), Adrian Perry ( vocals, bass), Ben Tileston (drums), Lou Jannetty (guitar) have crafted a sound that marries the subtleties of so many influences –Cheap Trick, The Beatles, Sly and the Family Stone, Oasis, The Raconteurs, The Who, early Rolling Stones – and boils them down into one head-turning slice of rock and roll exuberance.
TAB the Band’s first two LP’s, Long Weekend & Pulling Out Just Enough To Win received immediate praise from critics including Rolling Stone, NPR, and the Boston Globe. It also garnered them attention from major music supervisors with song placements in Entourage and CSI: New York. Having already toured with bands like the Stone Temple Pilots and Modest Mouse, TAB seems to be on everyone’s radar poising them to be one of the breakout acts of the new year.
