Brooklyn duo The Hundred in the Hands have premiered a video for new track ‘Tom Tom’ (directed by Ben Crook) today at the Fader, as well as giving away the track “Ghosts†(the first song the duo ever wrote together as The Hundred in the Hands) at their website, http://thehundredinthehands.com/.
Both tracks are taken from their EP This Desert, released last week and described as “an absolute pleasure†by Drowned in Sound and given “two thumbs up†from Time Out London. You can sample the EP here (with a little help from Fab 5 Freddy and Grandmaster Flash): http://bit.ly/9JvqJj
The band follow the EP with a slew of worldwide tour dates and festival slots, kick-starting things with a US tour in June supporting Golden Filter before moving through Europe and the UK towards the release of their debut album in the Autumn. A list of dates is below, with many more to be announced in the coming weeks.

tricked-out pop music at their core.â€â€” Spinner
“The Hundred in the Hands’ music springs from that sliver of the early ‘80s in which pop was personal, arty and potentially angry.â€â€”Time Out New York
