DEAD COUNTRY’S “Euro Thrash” Video Up For Voting On MTV’s The Freshman

Dead Country released their self-titled EP in April which was recorded at the Foo Fighters’ Studio 606 in Los Angeles, features four tracks “Euro Thrash,” “The Shade,” “Satori In Luzern” & “Sea Change.” You can purchase the EP right now from iTunes or Amazon.

Dead Country just finished up a two week tour with the Toadies which took them though the Midwest and up into the Northwest. Before that they were out on a West coast tour with the reunited Far. For three weeks in March the band went out on the road with The Bronx and also played shows with Sunny Day Real Estate in 2009.

Lead singer Nick Long created Dead Country in late 2008 after he moved back to L.A. from Switzerland. Influences such as Nirvana, Fugazi, Jawbreaker and Rites of Spring propel the band’s thought-provoking lyrics, rhythmic melodies and driving sound.
