Singer-Songwriter/U.K. sensation Jesca Hoop has been chosen to be a featured artist as part of the Whole Foods Artist Discovery Series. Beginning on August 6th, customers of the chain will be able to purchase Jesca’s latest release, Hunting My Dress, in Whole Foods Markets nationwide. Launched in 2008, the Artist Discovery Series handpicks budding talent and gives their music a platform to reach the Whole Foods audience with premium placement in their stores.

Hunting My Dress made its American debut on July 27th to rave reviews. USA Today hailed, “A protégée of Tom Waits, Hoop has a wispy, haunted soprano and a flair for the sort of offbeat, grainy-atmospheric arrangements that can get singer-songwriters pegged as cult darlings.
