Stereogum premiered the enchanting and ethereal video for “Don’t Leave My Mind” last week, the first single from Azure Ray’s critically acclaimed release, Drawing Down The Moon which hit mid-September on Saddle Creek. The transcendent voices of Orenda Fink and Maria Taylor fade in an out of focus as the camera captures the two songstresses in their trademark aesthetic, melding beautiful close-ups with dreamy interludes.
In addition to the video, the ladies of Azure Ray are offering up another track off Drawing Down The Moon, the gorgeous and visceral “Make Your Heart”. It is available here or in the widget below

Frenchkiss quartet Suckers, who have each created their own video for the Wild Smile track “A Mind I Knew,” just premiered the final clip yesterday on IFC.com. This cut, directed by singer/guitarist Austin Fisher, features “found CGI scrapes and tests,” he relayed to IFC. “I like how unnatural and creepy things get when an amateur animator is simply trying to create an animation which depicts human hair swinging naturally or a woman smiling. It’s an innocent gesture but the result seems totally wrong in the end.”
