Head over to MySpace Music to hear the exclusive preview of the highly-anticipated original motion picture score for TRON: Legacy, composed and produced by the iconic and critically acclaimed Grammy® Award-winning French duo Daft Punk. Beginning today, the stream for TRON: Legacy will be featured on the MySpace Music homepage (http://www.myspace.com/music) as one single streaming 21-minute body of work showcasing the liveliest moments of the soundtrack.

TRON: Legacy marks Daft Punk’s first ever film score.

The TRON: Legacy original motion picture soundtrack will be available nationwide in stores and online via Walt Disney Records on December 7. Presented in Disney Digital 3Dâ„¢, Walt Disney Pictures’ TRON: Legacy hits U.S. theaters on December 17, 2010 in Disney Digital 3Dâ„¢ and IMAX® 3D.

9:30 Records is proud to announce that Justin Jones will be playing with Badly Drawn Boy for eleven dates. Justin grew up in a collection of cabins, trailers, and campers known as Rawley Springs, VA. He believes, like many musicians, that in a career like theirs, you don’t do it for the money, because there is no backup plan. After living in Charlottesville, VA writing music, he used DC as a jumping off point for NYC. After some troubled years, during which he stopped writing songs, he met the woman that would become his wife and started right back where he had left off four years before. From there, he found a band with which he could explore his own sound. A few records hodgepodged with country tunes, soulful ballads, and southern rock songs later, he stripped the band down to what he calls “the essentials.” From there, Justin and his band chose the five songs they thought best fit where they were after a year of touring and playing together. Justin said the only way they saw to put on a record what they really sounded like, was to record the whole thing live. Justin gave the five song record to his manager Seth Hurwitz, who started a record label named 9:30 Records after his own 9:30 Club, where Justin happens to be a bartender.

We’re giving away tickets to the 12/4 NYC show at (Le) Poisson Rouge. If you wanna go, email us at theaudioperv@gmail.com (with the subject: I WANNA SEE JUSTIN!) with your name, and we’ll email you back if you win!
