Little Dragon Premiere “My Step” Video, Add 3rd NY Show

Little Dragon are fresh off their world tour w/ Gorillaz & De La Soul and back in North America for a furious solo tour of their own, finishing what they started in front of packed crowds back in the Spring of 2010. Many of the dates are selling quickly in anticipation of fans hearing new tracks live. This tour kicked off with two sold out shows in LA at the Natural History Museum which provided a live webcast of over 95,000 viewers (the most ever!), and at the Echoplex (LA) which went deep into the night. They played to a sweaty house that consisted of legends such as Bobby Womack and soul singer Raphael Saadiq who watched the entire show side stage. Random celebs from the film and TV world were also spotted in attendance. It’s always a pleasure to see who will support this game-changing band next! Little Dragon’s grassroots following is spread through organic means of marketing (with no label support in the US) and word of mouth from fans of all walks of life ranging from DJ Shadow to KCRW in LA who put them in the highest rotation only second to Radiohead. Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, Little Dragon emerged with tremendous stealth and ease onto the scene after their 2007 Self-Titled (Peace Frog UK) debut dropped overseas . A healthy following quickly blossomed off an aggressive touring schedule and impressive word of mouth on US soil as the album is still available through IMPORT only. They are still touring in support of their sophomore debut, Machine Dreams (Peace Frog UK). They were (and continue to be) a music lovers secret weapon – a band on the rise that is dedicated to their vision by traversing all creative boundaries.

As a special gift to the fans, Little Dragon are proud to share a NEW video for “My Step” which is off their current release, Machine Dreams, from the fall of 2009. Watch the FADER premiere HERE . The band is also pleased to announce a 2nd show at the Bowery Ballroom on January 24th, 2011 which will end their 3 day run in NYC (Music Hall on 1/20 and Bowery on 1/21 are both almost sold out!).

In other exciting Swedish news, Little Dragon’s new album, Ritual Union, is now complete and ready to drop this April / May.
