New Politics Announce Spring Tour w/The Dirty Heads, On Kimmel Tonight

New Politics, the Brooklyn based / Denmark born 3 piece rock band announced today that they will be hitting the road this spring with The Dirty Heads. Kicking off March 4th in Sacramento, CA, they will criss-cross the country with their effusive brand of in your face rock n’ roll until wrapping up in San Francisco on May 8th. Their current single “Dignity” off their 2010 self-titled debut album (RCA Records) is making waves on the Rock charts and their first single, the effusive “Yeah Yeah Yeah” is currently featured on the Dell television campaign.

MTV has officially added “Dignity” and named New Politics as one of their “2011 Artists To Watch”. In the upcoming weeks “Dignity” will be featured in Artist to Watch countdowns across MTV AMTV, MTV2, mtvU, and MTV Hits. In addition, they are currently featured in an Artists To Watch PUSH campaign and and will be the focus of their own MTV PUSH CAMPAIGN which begins on January 24th. New Politics are also MTV’s “Posted” artist for the entire month of January. “Posted” is an on-line interactive campaign which will feature New Politics content on their own page on for the entire month.

Additionally, New Politics will make their late night network television debut on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” tonight at 12:05am ET/PT and are about to head to Europe for a series of headlining dates.

Fresh off their 2010 tours with both 30 Seconds to Mars and Neon Trees, New Politics are looking forward to hitting the road once again where they will continue to perform their riveting and unique sets which had declaring their performance was “…the night’s most lasting take-away” during SXSW. New Politics have continued to develop their energetic live show which features front man David Boyd doing flips, headstands, and break dancing.

Already having been deemed “Buzzworthy” by and featured on, their video for “Yeah Yeah Yeah” was a staple in the Top 10 on the FUSE Alternative Countdown. New Politics have performed on Fuel TV’s The Daily Habit and had the honor of having “Yeah Yeah Yeah” chosen as the Alli Theme Song for both the Dew Tour 2010 and the Lucas Oil Pro Motorcross tour.
