Science & Faith, the new release by Irish rockers and Epic Recording artists, The Script rocketed onto Billboardâ€™s Top 200 this week at No. 3, making it the highest charting album debut of the bandâ€™s U.S. career.
The albumâ€™s arrival is amplified by the fact that the album held the No. 2 spot on iTunes for a week straight with iTunes sales exploding. The single, â€œFor The First Timeâ€ is currently Top 10 at Hot AC Radio, and garnering tons of early buzz at pop radio while the video for the single is in large rotation at VH1. In addition, tickets for The Scriptâ€™s U.S. Spring headlining tour will become available to the general public this Friday, January 28th at 10AM.
The album, which was released overseas, immediately garnered interest from critics and debuted at #1 in Ireland and the UK. Written and produced by The Script frontman, Danny Oâ€™Donoghue and guitarist Mark Sheehan, Science & Faith was recorded in both London and Los Angeles over the past year and is once again a testament to what The Script do bestâ€¦pen emotion-packed songs that contain fluid melodies, haunting hooks and Dannyâ€™s soulful vocals riding high over huge, anthemic choruses.
