Tame Impala spent most of 2010 traversing the globe, playing barefoot on stages from Boise to Belgium, from their languid beachfront hometown of Perth to Bowery Ballroom and beyond. Along the way, they picked up Rolling Stone Australia’s Album of the Year award, Best New Music from Pitchfork for their debut album Innerspeaker, props from Diplo, Erol Alkan, Flying Lotus, and Wayne Coyne, and have just been crowned one of Spin’s ‘Next Big Things’ in their annual look at the future of music.
April will see the band set out on one last US tour in support of Innerspeaker before they return to Australia to work on their second album. Already announced as part of the Coachella line-up, Tame Impala will also be playing in the below cities. They are excited to take UK band Yuck out with them on these dates. All tickets will be on sale this weekend.
