The next few weeks will be very busy for the Foo Fighters. First, they’re set to hit SXSW to premiere their new documentary Foo Fighters: Back and Forth. Then, they’re performing at the mtvU Woodie Awards and then releasing their new album Wasting Light on April 12th. We’re sure that there will be a bunch of album release shows but wait, you may be wondering two things:
1. How will I see the documentary if I’m not in Austin next week?
2. How long will I have to wait to see the Foo Fighters play the new album live?
The answer to BOTH questions is: GO TO A MOVIE THEATER ON APRIL 5th! Yes, that’s right, for one night only, the Foo Fighters: Back and Forth documentary will be shown at select theaters across the country. The documentary will be followed with a LIVE performance broadcast of the band performing their new album Wasting Light in full!
So you wanna buy your ticket now? You gotta wait! In fact, you have to do a liiiitle bit of work. Go to http://foofighters.cinedigm.com/ where you’ll see a map of the country and all the theaters that are equipped to show the documentary and performance in all its glory! Then, click on the city nearest you that has one of these theaters and VOTE! We don’t care if you voted in your town elections, Presidential elections or even for a new M&M color. You have to vote for your theater!
Good luck and we hope that they sell alcohol at your theater!
