SafetySuit Going On Tour With The Script, Playing Central Park in NY June 4th

Nashville-based pop-rock band SAFETYSUIT are hitting the road with The Script for a string of dates, which kick off May 31st at the Kool Haus in Toronto.

SAFETYSUIT will be giving fans a sneak preview of their upcoming album, which they co-produced with Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects, Bon Jovi), Espionage (Train “Hey Soul Sister”) and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.

Among the songs they’ll be performing is new lead single “Get Around This,” which debuted in the top ten on iTunes Rock Songs Chart and was the No. 2 Most Added Track at pop radio.

SafetySuit and The Script recently performed together on VH1’s “Best Cruise Ever,” where they were joined by Train, Lifehouse and Mat Kearney. Following dates with The Script, SafetySuit will launch a military tour in Asia.

SAFETYSUIT (vocalist/guitarist Doug Brown, guitarist Dave Garofalo, bassist Jeremy Henshaw and drummer Tate Cunningham) arrived on the scene in 2008 with Life Left To Go and hit single “Stay,” which shot to No. 1 on the voter-generated VH1 Top 20 Countdown. Spotlighted by VH1 as a band “You Oughta Know,” the group toured endlessly, playing over 200 shows and selling more than 500,000 singles along the way.
