The Audio Perv

Direct Hit! have teamed up with Alternative Press to premiere a song off their debut full length Domesplitter. The album is a collection of sorts, comprised of rerecorded and reimagined songs from the band’s five EPs (#1-#5), that were released for free download through Bandcamp.

In November, the band released a limited box set of cassettes featuring all 5 EPs, hoping to raise funds to record. Within the box set, they included a voting card for fans to pick their favorite tracks to be rerecorded for the full length. Once the cards were returned and the votes were tallied, the band went into the studio and began working on what would become their first full length.

Mastered by Alan Douches (Saves The Day, Lifetime, Kid Dynamite), the record shows the band’s progression since forming in 2007. With a steady line-up and grasp on their sound, the band comes off stronger than ever.

Domesplitter is due out on August 2nd through Kind Of Like Records.
