The Kills have revealed three new acoustic videos taken from their short film Blood Pressures (Directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern) which premiered on IFC.com. Named after their recent studio album, the nearly eleven minute short offers a playful and close-up look at the UK duo – Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart – during the making of Blood Pressures. Their latest videos, “Last Goodbye”, “Pots and Pans” and “Baby Says” find The Kills stripped down with an air of vulnerability – an intimate look at their songwriting process and the dynamic between the pair. Blood Pressures debuted in the Billboard Top 40 and has received some of the most glowing reviews yet in the band’s career.

Praise for Blood Pressures:
“The chemistry between Mosshart and Hince must be more intense than ever, because their fourth album is also their finest.” 4 stars – Rolling Stone
“… the new Kills record presents a more expansive sound from the London-based blues-punk duo.” – SPIN
“… Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart flesh out… their fourth album with thicker textures, big harmonies and lethal beats. A dark, seductive, primal heat pulsates within that maelstrom of feedback and guitar fury, which sets The Kills apart from its art-of-noise brethren.” – USA Today
“The Kills’ trademark fuzzy guitars, deadpan vocals and drum-machine minimalism are all there, too, but bumped up to a new level… Make no mistake, Blood Pressures is still characteristically sparse, but it’s also highly nuanced – no easy blend considering the two play everything save for the tuba.” – Los Angeles Times Magazine
“Songs like ‘Future Starts Slow’ and the sleazy, sultry ‘Baby Says’ are some of the duo’s best to date, mixing ominous, bass-heavy riffs with a subdued but sexual seductiveness… a highly charged and welcome return.” – Alternative Press
