The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart On Tour This Summer

With the hot and sticky summer officially upon us, the only way to satisfy the longer hours of daylight are with the sounds of quintessential indie-pop. Currently overseas, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart will bring the much needed summer rock back to the states for a series of shows across the east. Kicking off the US dates on August 3rd in Pontiac, MI, the band will follow it up at Grant Park in Chicago, IL for a set at Lollapalooza on August 6th, as well as Philadelphia’s POPPED! Festival on September 23rd. In addition, the band will play two hometown shows at Terminal 5 with UK duo The Kills, August 8th & 9th. Ticket for this show are on sale now, info below**. The band is on tour in support of their latest album Belong, which was released March 29th. They recently performed on Letterman (Check it à and have just wrapped filming a video for their song “The Body,” which will be released in the coming weeks.
