The Shins Confirm New Tour Dates

The Shins have added a handful of intimate club appearances to an itinerary featuring previously announced festival headline slots at Outside Lands in San Francisco and Philadelphia’s Popped!

The shows, The Shins’ first full band outing since May 2009, begin August 8 at W.O.W. Hall in Eugene, OR and include stops in Portland, Toronto, Boston and more, concluding with an October 15 appearance at the DeLuna Festival in Pensacola, FL.

Anvil 7/30 Bowery Ballroom Photos, Releasing Best Of Album

Anvil just wrapped up a brief east coast tour (plus a Chicago date) this weekend in support of their 16th studio album, Juggernaut of Justice. On Saturday night, they played the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Our photographer Patrick Eves (HippieDeathBed.com) was there to shoot the legendary metal rockers. The Black Angels Announce Fall Tour

The Black Angels are excited to announce a fall headlining tour in support of their latest release, Phosphene Dream, out now on Blue Horizon. The tour kicks off in Houston, TX on October 13th and concludes in Nashville, TN on November 5th. Tickets go on-sale on August 5th. The New York Times recently caught the band headlining 4Knots Festival, noting the Black Angels “play psychedelic rock as if the 1960s never ended, and they are absolute masters of it.”
