The largest free music festival in the New York area, The Union County Music Fest, returns for its 14th year from Wednesday, September 14th though Sunday, September 18th.
This year the Union County Music Fest has extended their headliner day an extra day having the main stages open beginning on Friday and not on Saturday like previous years. From Wednesday, September 14th through Sunday, September 18th, local entertainment will be on the “Crossroads Stage”. Also the Union County Fair will be opening throughout the whole five-day festival.
Headliners on the “Overlook Hospital Main Stage” include Collective Soul on Friday, Blondie on Saturday, and Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes on Sunday. The complete lineup with set times can be viewed below.
Last year the festival the festival boasted having over 80,000 attendees over the five days.
Past UC Music Fest performers include Spoon, Train, Third Eye Blind, The Bravery, Jesse Malin, OK GO, Joan Jet & The Blackhearts, along with many others. You can view a recap of past years at the UC Music Fest in this promo video.
Other attractions to the festival include “Hell On Wheels”, “The Green Village Collective”, and “The Rock On! Walkathon”.
