Fitz and The Tantrums Offer “Don’t Gotta Work It Out” For Free Download

The special download of “Don’t Gotta Work It Out,” Fitz And The Tantrums‘ brand new single, is a show of appreciation to fans. The song will be available gratis, starting today on the band’s official site: http://www.fitzandthetantrums.com throughout the duration of their fall tour, which kicked off this past Saturday in Charleston, SC and wraps with 3 SOLD OUT dates at The Metro in Chicago on November 19, 20 and 22.

What’s more, the “Don’t Gotta Work It Out” video, which premiered last week on VH1’s Top 20 Countdown, can now be seen regularly on the outlet, who, supportive from the get-go, handed the band You Ought Know honors back in March.

“Don’t Gotta Work It Out” is the second single from Fitz And The Tantrums’ debut album, Pickin’ Up The Pieces on Dangerbird Records.

“We are very excited to have started our fall headline tour this weekend. As a thank you to our fans we are giving away our new single “Don’t Gotta Work It Out” for free on our website. We want as many people as possible to hear it and spread it.” -Fitz

Since the album’s release, Fitz And The Tantrums have enjoyed incredible success particularly with its first single, runaway radio hit “Moneygrabber,” a song FATT performed on Last Call With Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Conan Show, Lopez Tonight, and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and the list goes on. In between, they’ve received accolades from Spin, USA Today, Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone, who will feature FATT in their “Hot Issue” due out on stands on October 28th.

All along, the band has been set to an unyielding touring agenda cementing their status as one of the hardest working bands around. Their shows have prompted ear-to-the-ground folks like pop culture phenom, Perez Hilton and no-frills music industry pundit Bob Lefsetz to take note: Lefsetz saying, “Get clued in. You want to be able to tell your buddies you were there first. Before the whole country goes Fitz and the Tantrums crazy”; and Perez simply posting, “Oh hell to the yes!” after catching the band’s Lollapalooza performance in July.
