Holy Ghost! – “I Wanted To Tell Her” Download

Holy Ghost!’s cover of the Ministry classic, “I Wanted To Tell Her,” is available today from Green Label Sound. The track, featuring Nancy Whang (LCD Soundsystem) and Juan Maclean can be downloaded for free exclusively at http://greenlabelsound.com

The band is currently on their first headlining tour of North America in support of their critically acclaimed, self-titled debut on DFA Records.

“The year’s break-out dance pop act…” – New York Times

“…obsession with the past is a healthy one, as the crisp recording quality gives classic sounds a modern punch.”
– NPR Music

“…emotionally satisfying synth pop” – Stereogum

First partnering in 2009, Green Label Sound released Holy Ghost!’s single, “I Will Come Back,” followed by remixes from the late DJ Mehdi and GLS-alum Classixx. The band approached Green Label Sound this time around wanting to give a nod to one of their favorite 80’s bands.

The video, out later this year, will see the band also paying homage to the iconic 80’s BMX film, Rad. See a teaser for that video here and follow Green Label Sound’s Facebook and Twitter for more info and a chance to win tickets for each of the remaining tour dates.
