It was no surprise that hometown rockers Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears would be playing the main stage at Fun Fun Fun Fest. A wonderful mix of rock, blues and soul, the band truly stands out as something different than a lot of bands out there today. This year, their album Scandalous was released and the band embarked on an extensive tour schedule including large festivals like Bonnaroo, Outside Lands Music and Art Festival and Coachella Valley Music. The attention is well deserved and their live show is not something to be missed. With a full horn section, great band member chemistry and fun songs that you can sing along with like Booty City, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears is a band that everyone should know. This talented group of guys driven by the guitar skills and soulful voice of Joe Lewis deserves your attention… I mean come on even Ryan Gosling came to check them out.
