Now, nearly half a year later, frontman Sam Beam and company returned to last night’s Leno to up the musical ante with “Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version)”. The song, featured on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 soundtrack, is built for the live setting, with its multiple parts and intricate rhythms and harmonies. In front of Leno and undoubtedly a Twihard or two, the group built a truly spellbinding musical moment that was either romantic or haunting, depending upon the status of your love life, but always earnest and true.
