On Thursday, January 12th, Johnny Winter and his band will appear on the Late Show with David Letterman, marking his first national television appearance since Saturday Night Live nearly 30 years ago.

“For me, blues is a necessity,” says Winter, “one of the world’s premiere electric guitarists” (New Yorker) recently featured Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Guitarists of All Time. Johnny will be on the road throughout 2012 in support of his critically acclaimed new album ‘Roots’ (Megaforce), a tribute to his blues heroes.
