Bush Launches 60 Shows 60 Days 60 Pair of Tickets Contest

BUSH has announced a contest called “60 Shows * 60 Days * 60 Pairs of Tickets,” a unique promotion that will see lead vocalist Gavin Rossdale personally giving away a pair of tickets to nearly every date on the band’s upcoming spring and summer tour, including their arena dates with Nickelback, Seether and My Darkest Days.

The contest begins today, a day before the launch of BUSH’s arena tour as special guests of Nickelback at the i wireless Center in Moline, IL.

Here’s how it works: Each morning at 9am PST, Gavin will announce a particular date/city/show via his Twitter account, @gavinrossdale. Contest hopefuls must visit http://bush.promojam.com/Bush60tix and re-tweet the message from the official contest using the hash tag #Bush60tix. Gavin will then pick a winner and tweet the name at 3PM PST that same day.

The contest follows news of BUSH contributing a new song (“Into The Blue”) to the upcoming “Avengers Assemble” soundtrack, due out May 1st and sets up a busy week for the band, with the tour launch followed by an April 17th performance on the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show, “The View,” an April 18th performance on Vh1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live,” and a much-buzzed-about April 19th show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Following their U.S. tour, BUSH will launch a European headline and festival tour, which kicks off August 10 at Germany’s Open Air Festival and runs through September 8th.

BUSH recently released “Baby Come Home,” the second single from their acclaimed album THE SEA OF MEMORIES. The song follows the album’s blockbuster lead single, “The Sound of Winter,” which made radio history as the first self-released track ever to hit No. 1 on the Alternative Radio Chart, where it stayed for six weeks. The band teamed with premium music platform VEVO to premiere the “Baby Come Home” companion video, which can be seen here: http://vevo.ly/AbRQXM, and is currently in rotation on VH1.
