[...] As much as we’ve enjoyed watching the Avett Brothers jam with Bob Dylan and cover the likes of Elliott Smith in recent memory, the biggest treat is on the way in the form of a new record due out later this year. In the meantime, the boys stopped by TBS tonight for a live performance on Conan, setting newer material aside for the evening in favor of The Gleam II cut “Murder in the City”. The three-year wait for a follow-up to I and Love and You is nearly here, folks, but this will have to suffice for now.
