Mr. Hopeless (TAP contributor)
1) Pearl Jam – “The Fixer”
Good to see Vedder taking down the man and doing commercials for Target.
2) Green Day – “Before the Lobotomy”
Can any year Armstrong and company release new music really be that bad? I say no, but out-of-work music industry types beg to differ. Don’t worry, no one employed by the music industry is worth employing anyway.
3) Chevelle – “Jars”
Chevelle has been delivering real rock even after hitting the mainstream. Kudos.
4) Breaking Benjamin – “Hopeless”
Breaking Benjamin’s lead Benjamin Burnley is too afraid of flying to tour overseas. Sucks for those countries.
5) Rammstein – “Pussy”
The Germans don’t understand the difference between music videos and porn…and I’m O.K. with that.

Yes, we realize this is kind of quickly thrown together list but we kind of slacked off the last week or so. Don’t worry, we’ll get everything straightened out and the site will be better than ever and we’ll give away a bunch of new stuff. Thanks to everyone over at all the promo companies that we work with including Melissa, Ben and everyone over at Total Assault, Marni, Lisa, Sheryl, Lauren at Sneak Attack Media, Ken and everyone at Big Hassle, special thanks to Myles, Amanda at ABC PR, our favorite blogs RockItOutBlog, Antiquiet, TwentyFourBit, Consequence of Sound, all the blogs/sites that linked to us and credited us and even the ones that linked to us and didn’t credit us, all the labels and management who gave us free merch to give away and helped us with giveaways, Tenth Street Entertainment, Ryan and Jason over at Epic, Bich Ngoc at WBR, Darren at EMI, our photographer and friend Meimi (who saved our CMJ show), our favorite intern Gen, Mr. Hopeless, MOG, Seth and everyone at IndieClick, Kibbe, Maritza and Fancorps, Bridget and Rockpit, our Twitter followers, Facebook fans, Nicole from Sideways Media, everyone who retweets our posts and anyone else that we’re forgetting. Oh and you, the readers, who put up with our BS and came to our site whether it was to see last night’s Letterman performances, or read our reviews or listen to our interviews, kill sometime or just see if the word “perv” would get blocked while you were online at work. So thanks everyone and have a happy new year.
