I got back last night and I was way too tired to post but I uploaded some videos and pics online. I saw The Foo Fighters at the Izod Center (you’ll always be continental airlines arena in my heart!) in East Rutherford NJ. The band was simply awesome. They played about 20 songs for over 2 hours. They had an acoustic stage where they played a few and those songs were great too. Dave, I think, started losing his voice slightly at the end but the music was great. Gaz from opening band Supercrap, I mean Supergrass sang the Who’s “Bargain” with them in the encore. Here are some crappy pics because my digital camera takes pics worse than it takes videos. Here’s the setlist and videos:

Tonight, a buddy of mine and I will be going to the Foo Fighters show at Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ. If you’re going and have weapons, alcohol, weed, pet rocks or anything else cool, lemme know. I’ll probably wanna steal your goods. I hope to have an update after the show tonight.

Nine Inch Nails launched their tour this past weekend in Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada. I had to look up Pemberton. I don’t think that it comes up on Google Maps. I think that you have to make a left at Toronto, drive 2000 miles west and make a right everytime you see a moose or a Nickelback bumper sticker. Here are some vids and the setlist:

Miley Cyrus played the Good Morning America Concert Series on Friday morning and they aired her interview from it today. She was amazing. She can’t dance a lick but she can sing. I’d rather have her on stage with a club foot and not messing up the songs than lip synching trying to do a somersault (wait.. maybe I’d go with the latter). Chris Martin from Coldplay even gushed about Miley(eww PERV!). Here are all the videos (stop salivating.. she won’t be making the dirty movie.. or will she?) I get the feeling that she’s going to go alternative rock and slutty when she turns 18. Lets start taking bets on it

This weekend they had some music festival in England where a bunch of rock bands and a rapper played. Unsurprisingly, the rapper was the best act on the bill. Jay-Z made Noel Gallagher look like a punk by covering Oasis’s Wonderwall and proceeding to mesmerize the crowd. Thanks to The Hip Hop Chronicle, you can read a full review with pictures and watch the entire set or just watch..

Wonderwall and 99 Problems

Amy Winehouse also punched a fan in self-defense. Frankly, I don’t think that anyone but Amy and her inner demons are trying to harm her.

Pearl Jam just played their second sold out show at MSG last night. The band “rocked” another 3+ hour long set to the dismay joy of their fans. Ace Frehley and CJ Ramone joined the band each for one song. The Olsen twins were spotted at the show asking “Are those their dads onstage with them?” Billboard has more of a review and Gigwise has some more photos.
