Green Day has finally gotten around to rescheduling their previously postponed North American tour.

“We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months,” said the members of Green Day. “We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again, though we regret having to cancel more shows.”

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said, “Dear friends… I just want to thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown for the past few months. Believe me, it hasn’t gone unnoticed and I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family. I’m getting better everyday. So now, without further ado, the show must go on. We can’t wait to get on the road and live out load! Our passion has only grown stronger.”

Tickets for shows that had been postponed will be honored at these new dates. Should you have any questions regarding your tickets please contact your point of purchase. For those who purchased tickets for dates that are now canceled, refunds will be given at original point of purchase. Additional west coast dates will be announced in early 2013.

Bad Books are excited to announce new tour dates for 2013 in support of their recently released sophomore album II. A collaboration between Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra, Bad Books drew praise for the latest record with Paste Magazine writing that “on II, Bad Books have proven that they are more than Manchester Orchestra with Kevin Devine or vice versa,” going on to say that they “play off their strengths,” and that “all of us reap the benefit.” Rolling Stone noted that “the band maintains a unique sound, but the musicians have become more willing to stray from their comfort zones,” and praise experimental nature of the “melodic-schizophrenia” that ensues. The Hives will return to the U.S. in February for a nationwide arena tour in support of P!nk. Kicking off February 13 in Phoenix, the dates will take them to 25 cities across the U.S. See below for details.

The band is currently in the midst of a world tour – kicking off their European headline dates next week – in support of their widely-acclaimed new album Lex Hives that has included show-stopping sets at Coachella, Reading & Leeds and Jay-Z’s Made in America festival, as well as appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Conan, Last Call with Carson Daly and more. Carson will air a second episode with The Hives on December 10, featuring two songs from their October 8 set at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.

Long Island natives Taking Back Sunday and AEG Live have announced two area events to help residents devastated by Hurricane Sandy.

A pair of sold out performances at the Starland Ballroom – originally scheduled for Nov. 16 and Nov. 25 – will combine into one “mega-show” on Sunday, Nov. 25 at Pine Belt Arena, on the campus of Toms River High School North in Toms River, NJ. Bayside, The Menzingers and Kenny Truhn will open. Tickets marked for both Starland Ballroom shows will be honored at Pine Belt Arena. This relocation means that more tickets will be available for these previously sold-out shows. These tickets will go on sale today, Monday, Nov. 12 at Noon via, phone charge at 800.745.3000 and at the Pine Belt Arena box office. Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, The Menzingers, Kenny Truhn and AEG Live will donate a portion of ticket sales to the Toms River Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.

In addition, Taking Back Sunday has announced a new show to take place next Friday, Nov. 16 at the Best Buy Theater in New York City. Tickets for this show will go on sale today, Monday, Nov. 12, at Noon EST. Bayside and The Menzingers will open. Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, The Menzingers and AEG Live will donate 100% of net ticket proceeds to relief efforts in and around Long Beach, NY, the hometown of several Taking Back Sunday band members.

Each of these shows will feature Taking Back Sunday celebrating the 10th anniversary of its breakthrough release Tell All Your Friends by performing the album in its entirety.

Taking Back Sunday bassist Shaun Cooper said, “We’re devastated to see all of the damage this natural disaster caused in our community and the communities around us, but it is always inspiring to see people come together and push forward. We’re making the best of this difficult situation. Thanks to the fans for the continued support and understanding why these changes needed to take place. We would also like to thank the Starland Ballroom for helping coordinate these efforts despite being located in an affected area.”

For fans holding Starland tickets but unable to make the new date at Pine Belt Arena, refunds will be accepted until 10 p.m. on Monday, November 19.

Today, Soundgarden announce their Winter 2013 North American tour dates including two-night engagements in New York City, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and, for the first time since the band reunited with their surprise show at the Showbox, Soundgarden will be playing two shows in their hometown of Seattle. Fan Club pre-sales begin on Monday, November 12th and tickets go on-sale to the public starting on Friday, November 16th.

This is the first North American tour for Soundgarden showcasing their new album, King Animal, to be released on November 13 via Loma Vista/Republic Records. The band has been headlining and playing to sold out crowds since they got back together over two years ago to critical acclaim. The New York Times said, “After 14 years between tours, Soundgarden was back in full force, its paradigm intact. This is one reunited band that can pick up right where it left off.”

Soundgarden have also released a music video for “Been Away Too Long,” the first single from their new album King Animal today, available to watch on VEVO HERE. The Joy Formidable are excited to announce the pre-sale for their new album, Wolf’s Law. The pre-sale begins on November 8th with the album being released on January 22, 2013 via Canvasback Music / Atlantic Records. The band has also revealed the album cover artwork for the record, painted by acclaimed artist Martin Wittfooth.

Wolf’s Lawis the second album from The Joy Formidable and the follow-up to their breakthrough debut The Big Roar which saw the band praised by the likes of The New York Times, SPIN, and NME as one of the most exciting new UK bands to emerge in 2010. The new album was recorded and produced by the band in their homeland of North Wales along with work done in Maine and London. It was mixed by the legendary Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine).

The band recently unveiled the music video for the first US single “This Ladder Is Ours.” The song was #1 most added at Modern Rock Radio, and spent 3 weeks at the #1 spot on the FMQB SubModern charts. The Joy Formidable are ready to bring their roaring live shows back to the United States for a number of headlining dates this fall. The intimate tour, where the band will preview songs from the new record, begins on November 08 in New York City at The Bowery Hotel.

Earlier this fall, the band had been hand-picked to open for Muse during their Europe/UK arena tour, including a two-night stint at London’s O2 Arena.

After several months on the road with Lady Gaga in 2012, multi-platinum British rock group THE DARKNESS are set to make a triumphant return with their upcoming headlining world tour “Let Them Eat Cakes.” The U.S. portion of the trek will kick-off January 10 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and wrap-up February 2 in Aspen, CO before the band heads to 15 countries worldwide including Scandinavia, Germany, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Australia and New Zealand (see full world tour routing below). The “Let Them Eat Cakes” world tour marks the band’s first headlining run since the release of their new album HOT CAKES, out on Wind-up in North America and PIAS in the rest of the world. With 2013 around the corner, Passion Pit is excited to announce a headlining North American tour in February and March with special guests Matt & Kim. The tour starts on February 5th in Norfolk, VA, three nights before the bands previously announced headlining debut at Madison Square Garden. The tour continues with a hometown show in Boston, MA on February 9th at the Agganis Arena, before heading west for theatre and arena shows in Denver, Salt Lake City and more – making this the band’s largest headlining tour to date! The band recently completed a three night stand at Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club, where the Washington Times raved that “Passion Pit is the personification of pop music.” While in D.C., Michael Angelakos and Ian Hultquist from the band stopped by the NPR offices to perform a Tiny Desk Concert. After a triumphant return to the stage this fall, Passion Pit will finish out this year with a small European tour and a series of U.S. radio dates.

Passion Pit is featured on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 soundtrack, with an original track titled “Where I Come From.” The song is featured in the beginning of the film (out Nov. 16th), and you can preview it now on iTunes.

Four months after the bands #4 Billboard chart debut with Gossamer, Passion Pit is seeing their first top 5 Alternative chart hit with “Take A Walk.” Passion Pit made their first TV appearance in support of Gossamer last month performing “Take A Walk” and the infectious album cut “Carried Away” on Saturday Night Live. Additionally, the band is the face of Brooks Brothers 2012 fall line.

Soundgarden have announced three intimate North American shows in support of their forthcoming studio album, King Animal, kicking off in New York City at Irving Plaza on November 13th, before a stop in Toronto at The Phoenix on November 16th, and wrapping up at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on November 27th. King Animal is Soundgarden’s first new album in over 15 years and will be released on November 13, 2012 (Loma Vista/Republic Records).

Fans who pre-order King Animal before 11:59pm PST on November 7th will be sent a password which allows access to the on-sale on November 8 at 12pm Local Time for the shows at Irving Plaza in New York, The Phoenix in Toronto and The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis, and there is no guarantee a password will get you tickets. Additionally, there will be a public on-sale that will begin at 10am Local Time on Friday, November 9th.

For fans that cannot be in New York City, Toronto or Los Angeles, Soundgarden will be performing a Live On Letterman live webcast concert on Monday, November 12th (8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT), available on and VEVO, before their appearance on the Late Night with David Letterman that same evening (11:35PM-12:37AM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The band will also be performing on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 26th at 11:35 PM ET/8:35 PM PT.
