FOO FIGHTERS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

July 30, 2008 drainu182 6

I got back last night and I was way too tired to post but I uploaded some videos and pics online. I saw The Foo Fighters at the Izod Center (you’ll always be continental airlines arena in my heart!) in East Rutherford NJ. The band was simply awesome. They played about 20 songs for over 2 hours. They had an acoustic stage where they played a few and those songs were great too. Dave, I think, started losing his voice …

Nine Inch Nails played Pemberton Festival (Where the **** is that?)

July 29, 2008 drainu182 0

Nine Inch Nails launched their tour this past weekend in Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada. I had to look up Pemberton. I don’t think that it comes up on Google Maps. I think that you have to make a left at Toronto, drive 2000 miles west and make a right everytime you see a moose or a Nickelback bumper sticker. Here are some vids and the setlist:

Filter 7/26 Starland Ballroom Sayreville NJ Videos

July 27, 2008 drainu182 1

I had free tickets to this show and I sorta wanted to go but I didn’t at the same time. My friends aren’t really into Filter and I’m not sure that anyone really is. Like, you could go see Nine Inch Nails if you like this type of shit. Filter’s always been alright, good, but never great. Did anyone really miss them? I like the old hits. In fact, I was once in one of their music videos but that’s …

The Duke Spirit on Leno

July 27, 2008 drainu182 0

The Duke Spirit are this pretty cool alt-indie-garage rock band from England. They were on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday night. Here’s them playing The Step and The Walk on Leno:

You can check out more of their music here.…

EVERYONE (CHRIS MARTIN, YOUR MOM, JESUS) LOVES MILEY CYRUS

July 22, 2008 drainu182 0

Miley Cyrus played the Good Morning America Concert Series on Friday morning and they aired her interview from it today. She was amazing. She can’t dance a lick but she can sing. I’d rather have her on stage with a club foot and not messing up the songs than lip synching trying to do a somersault (wait.. maybe I’d go with the latter). Chris Martin from Coldplay even gushed about Miley(eww PERV!). Here are all the videos (stop salivating.. she won’t be making the dirty movie.. or will she?)

Return of The Vines (Do we still care?)

July 21, 2008 drainu182 0

The Vines have a new album out (July 22nd) and Craig Nicholls talked to the Herald about it. I have a few videos of the new songs for all of my fans out there before they go to Chipotle for a “high-class meal.” Enjoy.

Rise Against New Album and Tour

July 18, 2008 drainu182 0

Rise Against are droppin their new album on October 7th. They’re also going to be touring this fall with Alkaline Trio, Thrice, and The Gaslight Anthem. I like a total of two songs out of those three other bands. Oh well. Go here for more news and check out Prayer Of The Refugee from the Download Festival a few weeks back.
