Two of rock’s most talked about bands, Escape the Fate and Attack Attack!, are joining forces on a co-headliner, dubbed the This World Is Ours Tour. The trek, which features support from The Word Alive, Secrets and Mest, will kick off April 5th in Buffalo, NY and wind down on May 16th in Vancouver, BC.

Currently the best-selling band on Rise Records, Attack Attack! has toured non-stop over the past 4 years, bringing their insane live show to every corner of the world. Last summer found the band headlining the Vans Warped Tour, marking their 3rd time on the tour.

Attack Attack!’s recently released third album, This Means War, landed at #11 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart in its debut week, proving to critics and naysayers alike that the Ohio band is making an impact on music fans. calls This Means War, “…their hardest hitting and most coherent record to date.” Columbus Alive! describes the record as, “…the sound of Attack Attack! shaking off shackles. Somehow both heavier and poppier, more streamlined yet less boxed-in, it redefines them.” The Knoxville News Sentinel raves, “The death-metal, screamo, heavy-rock act rarely hits the brakes, with machine-gun guitar riffs and screeching vocals by Caleb Shomo swarming and suffocating the mix. There’s also old-fashioned punk fury racing through this polished, modern metal mayhem, and even traces of funk.” says, “This Means War should be acknowledged as a fine album. It’s visceral, urgent, and compelling, powered by a passion and intensity so deep-rooted as to be tangible. (It) easily lives up to its name in ambition and scope – from the outset, it’s determined to set a radical, vociferous agenda and it pushes itself to hitherto unexplored heights. It’s excellently made and a testimony to the band’s growth…”

Escape The Fate are currently in the midst of recording a new album, their second with producer John Feldmann (The Used, D.R.U.G.S.). The Las Vegas quartet has toured relentlessly with everyone from Bullet For My Valentine to Hollywood Undead, and in the process has cultivated a diehard following cementing their status as one of hard rocks most intense live acts.

Nominated for a Kerrang! Music Award in the “Best Album” category, Revolver Magazine described the band’s most recent self-titled release as, “tread(ing) the tightrope between good times and introspection, between rollicking rock, raging post-hardcore, and tender balladry,“ and Outburn Magazine declared it, “a compelling modern day masterpiece.”

“Incubus is stoked to be joinin’ the killer lineup at Rock On The Range this year. We’ll see y’all in Columbus,” comments Brandon Boyd from festival co-headliner Incubus.

“If you thought last time was a blast, then this time we are gonna blow your f#@*ing mind,” says co-headliner Rob Zombie.

To get the party started and based on the success of last year’s anniversary celebration, the weekend will kick off with the Friday Night 4Play, which is absolutely FREE with every ROCK ON THE RANGE weekend ticket purchase. In all, ROCK ON THE RANGE features three stages, 44 bands, and three days of non-stop rock.

“There are so many incredible bands playing at ROTR this year, and every one of them is significant,” says Del Williams, co-executive producer of the event for Right Arm Entertainment. “I think this is the most interesting mix of bands that we have had at the festival. The Rangers already know that the weekend is going to be insanely great, but there will be surprises this year and a certain edge to the lineup that will likely create some of the most memorable moments in the 6 year history of Rock on the Range.”

Attack Attack!, the Columbus, Ohio outfit known for its frenetic sound, debuted at #1 on the Independent Music Chart and scored the #26 position on the Billboard Top 200 chart with its brand new self-titled release which sold well over 15,000 copies right out of the box.
The #6 Top Current Rock Album in the country marked the best debut week in Rise Record’s history.

Rise Records officially started in 1991 when founder Craig Ericson was still in high school. It then took an 8-year hiatus and started releasing vinyl in 1999. The Portland-based label’s first official CD release was in 2000 for the band One Last Thing. Since then it has been releasing
a steady stream of in-your-face, unrelenting rock, culminating with the recent impressive Attack Attack! debut this week.

In a recent interview with Substream Music Press, Ericson noted: “2010 is going to be a busy, busy year. We’re gonna have a lot
of great records. I think this will be the year we really shine.”

With four Rise bands already confirmed for the Vans Warped Tour, including Attack Attack!, it seems Ericson (who was recently selected as one of 2010’s “Innovators” of the year by the editors of Alternative Press Magazine) is more prophet than promoter.

Fans that show proof of purchase of the new Attack Attack! release (6/14/10 and onward) can be entered to win an Attack Attack! Golden Ticket which will get the winner and a guest into any Attack Attack! show forever. Fans need to email proof to

Why hello boys and girls!

Thought we’d throw you all a quick little update about what’s currently going on in the AA! lineup.

The band and Nick parted ways recently in a mutually agreed non-explosive fashion, which we all believe is the best for both sides.

Caleb is going to retire his keys and start screaming in the front of the band.

We DO NOT have a new person in our band.

Don’t worry, our music will still be full of Caleb’s programming, keys, and all the good things he concocts. It will just be back-tracked live with the 808 samples and other nonsense on my iPod.

Anyways, we’re not gonna stop touring, playing shows, and having a generally wonderful time with all of you.

See you in your town soon!
