Irish rockers The Script preview “Walk Away” ft. B.o.B on PerezHilton.com. The anthemic track is an exclusive to the trios US release of Science & Faith out January 18th.The album, which was released overseas on September 13th, immediately garnered interest from critics and debuted at #1 in Ireland and the UK. Written and produced by The Script frontman, Danny O’Donoghue and guitarist Mark Sheehan Science & Faith was recorded in both London and Dublin over the past year and is once again a testament to what The Script do best…penn emotion-packed songs that contain fluid melodies, haunting hooks and Danny’s soulful vocals riding high over huge, anthemic choruses.
2010 proved to be an extremely successful year for The Script. With the U.S. release of their debut album, The Script took America by storm; performing on The Today Show, The View, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen Degeneres, and the Late Show with David Letterman to name a few. VH1 handpicked the band for their powerful “You Oughta Know” artist campaign and recently aired the band’s “Unplugged” performance. Declared an “On The Verge” band by USA TODAY, Rollling Stone raved, “The Script…born to open for Paul McCartney,” while Entertainment Weekly described The Script’s music as, “smart piano-based pop that’s well-crafted and romantic, recalling Coldplay, The Fray and, most impressively, The Police.” Most recently the band performed on NBC’s Today Show Summer Concert Series.
The Script is Danny O’Donoghue (vocals/keys), Mark Sheehan (guitar) and Glen Power (drums).
B.o.B was interviewed on Last Call with Carson Daly. Check it out and pick up the album on iTunes, Amazon Mp3, CD
The VMAs were on tonight. No big surprises except for Cher presenting the Video of the Year award to Lady Gaga. There really was no controversy and everyone’s talking about how much the VMAs sucked this year (everyone says this every year btw). I wonder if Fuse could do a better job. At least the MuchMusic Awards once had Arcade Fire on . Check out the videos of the full performances from tonight below:
