Not only did the show feature jokes in the monologue and opening bits about “The Boss”, but Springsteen appeared for a lengthy interview as well as performed a few times. First, Springsteen joined Fallon (who was impersonating Neil Young) on a cover of Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair”. The other two performances featured Springsteen with his E Street Band bandmates guitarist Steven Van Zandt and pianist/keyboardist Professor Roy Bittan and the Roots on the songs “Because The Night” and “Save My Love.” Check out all the videos below and pick up the newly released boxed set The Promise on Amazon (3 CD/ 3 DVD), (3 CD/ 3 Blu-ray)

Bruce Springsteen performed at the Glastonbury Festival this weekend and rocked out, going even 9 minutes beyond curfew resulting in a 3000 pound fine for the festival’s promoter Michael Eavis. It seemed as if it was well worth it as The Boss rocked out for nearly three hours and no one seemed to mind to staying late. Eavis said that he doesn’t mind paying the fine because “he last nine minutes were spectacular.†Check out the setlist from the show below (Note: most glastonbury videos on youtube are being taken down because of copyright restrictions from BBC which aired the concert)
