On December 7th, 2010 platinum-selling rock quintet Flyleaf will release Remember to Live (A&M/Octone), a seven-song album featuring new recordings of fan-requested tracks from the Flyleaf catalogue.

Recorded with Mark Lewis (Chimaira, Trivium, Adrift) while on the road during their Unite & Fight tour, Remember to Live is a rare collection of tracks that fans have been demanding for years. The record includes a new version of fan favorite “Justice & Mercy” from the 2006 EP Music as a Weapon as well as a remix of “Arise” by Ben Moody of Evanescence. Lead by powerful front woman Lacey, Flyleaf’s coast to coast Unite & Fight tour was a force to be reckoned with, racking up rave reviews including ARTISTdirect’s Rick Florino who proclaimed “Flyleaf genuinely possess the power to save hard rock.”

All artwork for the album was designed by Flyleaf bassist Pat Seals. Check out the band’s newly re-launched website for more artwork from Pat Seals inspired by the concept around the band’s most recent full-length album, Memento Mori.

Memento Mori, released late last year via A&M/Octone, debuted at #8 on the Billboard chart and reached #1 on the Alternative Album and Hard Rock Album charts. Their self-titled debut, released in 2005, has gone platinum. The band recently wrapped their Unite & Fight tour, which aimed to raise awareness for the fight against human trafficking.

Remember to Live track listing:

1. Justice & Mercy (Violent Love Mix)
2. Okay
3. Amy Says
4. Dear My Closest Friend
5. Light In Your Eyes
6. Believe In Dreams
7. Arise (Ben Moody Mix)

Take a look at the making of “Courage,” the new video from Orianthi and Flyleaf’s Lacey Mosley. “The idea for the music video was to really bring the lyrics to life by interspersing my and Lacey’s performance with images that we think project courage,” said Orianthi.

The singer also let fans in on a secret – she’s not a very good driver. “We had lots of different scenes; the first one was set in an RV, driving around… thank god [Lacey] was driving, otherwise we’d probably end up in the closest tree!” Luckily for Orianthi she has her guitar to fall back on – “I love her playing guitar – I’ve never seen a girl play like her, she’s really strong and powerful,” Lacey shared.

“Courage” can be found on Orianthi’s album Believe (II). Visit Orianthi.com for additional information.

Australian singer/songwriter Orianthi has released a new music video for the song “Courage,” from her recent release Believe (II). “Courage is one of my favorite songs to sing live… It’s very spiritual and it takes you to a colorful place,” she says of the track, which showcases the rocker’s softer side and features friend Lacey of the band Flyleaf. çš„ had a great time making the video with Lacey. I love the setting and the colors that were used in this clip – very earthy and exactly the way I envisioned the video for this tune to be.”

Believe (II) also features Orianthi’s hits “According to You” and “Shut Up and Kiss Me,” and is available in store and on iTunes. Visit Orianthi.com and follow her on Twitter for the latest updates.

“Flyleaf are – as this, their second record proves, a super-tight metal band capable of writing a more than decent tune. Frontwoman Lacey Mosley has a voice that puts Amy Lee to shame and guitarists Jared Hartmann and Sameer Bhattacharya have far more up their sleeves than standard metal power chords.” – Alternative Press

FLYLEAF are set to hit the road again this fall on the second leg of their UNITE & FIGHT headline tour.

After a massively successful jaunt this spring, the platinum-selling rock quintet will deliver their inspiring and invigorating on-stage uprising to crowds across the country. The first round of UNITE & FIGHT was so special to fans that FLYLEAF had to share it with everyone who missed it-in addition to those diehards returning for more.

In continued support of their triumphant sophomore album, Memento Mori, FLYLEAF is going to put on an unforgettable show every night. Crowds have the chance to experience the Texas band’s latest hit single from Memento Mori, “Missing” as well as “Again” and other live favorites like “I’m So Sick” and “All Around Me.” Alternative mainstays Story of the Year will provide support for FLYLEAF on the entire run, rounding out a formidable night of rock ‘n’ roll.

UNITE & FIGHT comes hot on the heels of FLYLEAF’s incredible main stage set at the UK’s Download Festival alongside Rage Against the Machine and numerous U.S. and overseas festival appearances. For FLYLEAF, UNITE & FIGHT has a deeper purpose, and the band wants to give back in an important way.

Grammy nominated vocalist Lacey comments, “When we were recording the song ‘Set Apart This Dream’ for our new CD, Memento Mori, I was thinking about the innocence that is so easily and often stolen from so many kids. Today, there are 2 million children around the world who are victims of sex slavery. We named this tour UNITE & FIGHT because sometimes we have to fight violence with peace and that takes unity. We have to fight thieves who steal children and sell them with generosity. This also takes unity. It’s our way of bringing a bit of attention to a grave matter. All of us who are in a safer place have the ability to help lift some of the burden of such a heavy and disgusting injustice. If you text UNITE to 20222, $10 will be added to your cell phone bill and a donation will be made to World Vision’s effort to rescue the victims of sex slavery.”

The first leg of the tour also received high praises from the press. Rick Florino of ARTISTdirect.com writes, “Live, Flyleaf teeter between the explosive elegance of early Deftones and Alice In Chains’ heartfelt and heavy exploration of the human condition-however, they’ve also got hard rock’s best front woman at the helm…Hopeful and heavy, the Unite and Fight Tour is everything that a hard rock jaunt should be.”

“Again,” the lead single from A&M/Octone recording artist FLYLEAF‘S latest album, Memento Mori, has climbed to #3* at Modern Rock radio, right behind Muse, who occupy the #1 and #2 spots. Memento Mori, the follow-up to FLYLEAF’s self-titled Platinum debut, recently entered The Billboard 200 at No. 8.

“Reaching #3* after 28 weeks, ‘Again’ has been Flyleaf‘s biggest hit at Modern Rock radio to date,” said Ben Berkman, EVP/Head of Promotion at A&M/Octone Records. “It has also been one of their most enduring as well, reaching this position after a steady eight month build. Furthermore, the track navigated one of the most competitive fourth quarters in the last 10 years, outlasting records from over a dozen established Gold & Platinum artists. ‘Again’ is a bona fide hit!”

The band, which just wrapped up a trek with Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin, will launch a sold-out U.K. tour on March 22nd, which includes a show at London’s Islington Academy on April 1st. FLYLEAF will then return to the States for a series of festival appearances and a headlining tour that will kick off on May 4th. Fair to Midland and Ten Years will open on the tour. A ticket pre-sale will begin on Tuesday, March 16th, at 3 p.m. local time at http://tixx1.artistarena.com/flyleaf. A limited number of VIP packages will be available that include early entry to the show, a signed FLYLEAF poster and several other cool perks. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday and Saturday, March 19th and 20th; check your local box office for details. (See below for tour itinerary.)

FLYLEAF is Lacey (lead vocals), Sameer Bhattacharya (guitar), Jared Hartman (guitar), Pat Seals (bass) and James Culpepper (drums).Based in Belton, Texas, the quintet has been touring nearly non-stop since the September 2005 release of its self-titled debut album, which spent 133 weeks on The Billboard 200 and contained the hits “I’m So Sick,” “Fully Alive” and the RIAA Platinum smash “All Around Me.” Recorded with Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects), Memento Mori was hailed by The New York Times as “muscular and alluring” while Entertainment Weekly called it “galvanizing.” “Break Your Knees,” a track that appeared on the expanded edition of Memento Mori, was tapped for Healing 4 Haiti, a benefit compilation that was released last week on the iTunes Store.
