Making their first U.S. concert appearance in four years – and playing their only U.S. show in 2010 – GUNS N’ ROSES has been officially recruited with DAUGHTRY to join the inaugural ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL and cement its assault on the legendary Sturgis Rally’s 70th Anniversary celebration in Sturgis, SD, at the newly constructed Rock N’ Rev Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA.

GUNS N’ ROSES will headline the fifth and final night of the festival, as it moves to the Brand New Rock ‘N Rev Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA in Sturgis, adjacent to its original location. L.A.’s notorious rock ‘n’ roll bad boys – one of Q magazine’s “50 Bands to See Before You Die” – have combined forces with HDlogix and DC3 Global for this rare and very special appearance on home soil to bring the “full-out rock ‘n’ roll spectacle” (Spin) of their 2010 “Chinese Democracy World Tour” to Sturgis and finish off the hijacking of the world’s biggest, baddest biker event, Monday, Aug. 9 through Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.

GUNS N’ ROSES’ final night performance, immediately following previously announced Aug. 13 headliner Alice in Chains, is the ultimate climax to five full nights of undeniable rock ‘n’ roll bedlam, and now gives the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL six of the most explosive, multi-platinum AMERICAN Active Rock Bands of 2010. DAUGHTRY, supporting its second consecutive #1 album, will join 3 Doors Down, Hinder and others on Aug. 12, the 4th night of the ROCK N’ REV FESTIVAL.

In order to welcome GUNS N’ ROSES and DAUGHTRY to the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL, new festival owners HDlogix and its producers, DC3 Global, are starting construction immediately on the Rock N’ Rev Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA, a new custom-built amphitheater on a 25-acre site at Monkey Rock designed to maximize logistical opportunities while enhancing the overall experience for everyone attending – from the bands to the fans.

“We are truly blessed to be able to announce the addition of GUNS N’ ROSES at this historic moment in the band’s history, along with DAUGHTRY, just as we relocate the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL to our own Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA,” said DC3’s co-founder, Daniel E. Catullo III. “Monkey Rock’s vision to create a nationally recognized brand among the world’s top motorcycle rallies is a perfect fit for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them as our partners.”

ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL’s relationship with Glencoe Campground is amicable amid the change in logistics. As such, they are working together to arrange special VIP accommodations at the festival for all Glencoe campers that week.

Raising the insanity level to previously unimaginable heights, GUNS N’ ROSES and DAUGHTRY are just the latest high octane multi-platinum rockers to join the growing list of bands at the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL. They unite with fellow headliners Stone Temple Pilots, Godsmack, Creed, Alice in Chains and 3 Doors Down to establish the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL as “The Home of Rock’s Hardest New Chart Toppers” – a different one topping each night’s lineup.

Tickets for the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL are $45 per day, general admission ($150 for a five-day pass), and ON SALE NOW through Ticketmaster.com and rocknrevfestival.com and at all Ticketmaster locations, or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Tickets also will be available in person beginning August 5, 2010 on location at the Festival’s on-site box office. For more information on exclusive VIP packages ($150 for a single day, $300 for all five days or $1,000 5 day platinum packages), including backstage access to a VIP area to special, air-conditioned tents with private bars, motorcycle parking, luxury bathroom facilities and more, go to rocknrevfestival.com.

With an unrivaled lineup of twenty bands over five nights and spectacular fireworks displays each night at Monkey Rock USA, the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL promises to be the hands-down largest party ever thrown at the world’s largest motorcycle event, which annually draws over a half million patrons. World famous showman Jim Rose and his circus are set to emcee the five-day event and help give attendees a show they will never forget.

ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL’s sweltering lineup also includes Three Days Grace, Hellyeah, Cage The Elephant, Theft, Sweet Cyanide, Charm City Devils, Rev Theory, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darling Stilettos (featuring former GNR drummer Matt Sorum), Pop Evil, Skillet, and Swayback — just some of the bands making massive music at this colossal biker bash.

Everything about the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL will appeal to the “leather and chrome” sensibilities in everyone who attends…from those who embody the biker lifestyle to the more casually minded weekend warriors and their families. The Vendor Village will be overflowing with an assortment of food, clothing, gear and other accessories, top tattoo artists and the best barbeque and related cooking specialists from the nation’s sauciest hotspots such as Austin, Memphis, Chicago, and New Orleans. The overall Mardi Gras atmosphere will recall some of Europe’s top festivals, with a decidedly American flair. After all, biking and rock ‘n’ roll are two of America’s greatest heritages.

Tickets for the Atlanta, Holmdel, Seattle, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Fargo Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival shows go on sale to the general public June 26 at www.RockstarUproar.com and www.LiveNation.com. Tickets for other tour dates are on sale now. Tickets for the Irvine show go on sale July 17. A limited number of $20 All-lawn tickets–no extra fees—are available while supplies last. In addition, during the month of June, tickets for shows at all Live Nation amphitheaters are available with no service fees as part of Live Nation’s “No Service Fee June.”

The first annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival launches August 17 in Minneapolis, MN and will visit arenas and amphitheatres across North America before wrapping October 4 in Madison, WI. The late summer trek features a stellar active rock lineup including multi-platinum headliner Disturbed, who will release their new album Asylum in August. Multi-platinum co-headliner Avenged Sevenfold will release their new CD Nightmare July 27, 2010. The main stage will also feature Stone Sour, whose new CD Audio Secrecy is set for release this summer, and Halestorm. The potent rock lineup for the touring music and lifestyle jaunt also features performances from Jägermeister Second Stage headliners Hellyeah, as well as Airbourne, Hail The Villain, New Medicine and the local Jägermeister-sponsored opener in each city. Airbourne will not be performing on the Canadian dates. The festival is being produced by John Reese, John Oakes and CAA in conjunction with Live Nation.

All fans who buy tickets to the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will have the opportunity to sign up to receive a free digital CD compilation. The compilation includes: Disturbed’s “Stricken,” Avenged Sevenfold’s “A Little Piece of Heaven,” Stone Sour’s “Come What(ever) May” live, Halestorm’s “Familiar Taste of Poison,” Hellyeah’s “Cowboy Way,” Airbourne’s “Blonde, Bad And Beautiful,” Hail The Villain’s “Take Back The Fear” and New Medicine’s “Laid.”

As previously announced, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival has formed an alliance with Child Find of America, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and resolution of child abduction. UPROAR is working with mGive mobile giving to create a text-to-donate campaign to benefit Child Find of America that will launch July 1 and will continue throughout the year. Text “FIND” to 50555 to donate $5 to Child Find of America.

“We saw the massive text-to-donate campaign that the Red Cross used to help in fundraising for the earthquake in Haiti,” says tour producer John Reese. “Our thought was to bring that same technology to the touring festival world. Through mGive, we are able to have people text in their donations. Big or small, we feel that every dollar we can direct toward Child Find of America, the closer we are to helping them achieve their mission of bringing these missing children home safe and sound.”

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will feature a full afternoon and night of activities, including a concourse midway filled with vendors and activities and a daily wrestling tournament featuring the Detroit-based Blue Collar Wrestling Alliance. The Blue Collar Wrestling Alliance UPROAR lineup will feature eight of the finest, fastest rising wrestlers in the world who will put their skills to the ultimate test during the BCWA UPROAR Invitational. The 36-event tournament will encompass 245 matches over seven weeks throughout North America. The athlete that perseveres over injuries and adversity will be named King of the Tournament. For more information on the Blue Collar Wrestling Alliance, go to www.bcwaonline.com.

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival carnival midway will feature games of chance including Basketball, Balloon Toss, Spill The Milk, Break A Plate, Bank A Ball, Beer Can Alley, Tubs Of Fun and Hi Striker.

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival is proud to announce that they’ve formed an alliance with Child Find of America, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and resolution of child abduction. A portion of the proceeds of each Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival ticket sold will go to Child Find of America. In addition, UPROAR is launching an awareness campaign that will include wrapping the tour’s semi trucks with images of missing children, providing nationwide exposure on major highways throughout North America for over six weeks; a text-to-donate campaign; as well as social media outreach to bring safety messages and images of missing children to rock music lovers worldwide. Child Find of America–which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year–will also have an onsite presence at each festival date.

UPROAR is honored to announce that Corey Taylor–vocalist of Slipknot and UPROAR artist Stone Sour–has offered his assistance with the Child Find of America awareness campaign on this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival. Corey will be featured in a two-minute public service announcement that will reach tens of thousands of rock fans across North America, warning them of the dangers and perils of child abduction, running away and providing information on what people can do to help.

According to Child Find, every day 2,300 children are reported missing in America. Missing children can be victims of family abduction, non-family abduction or they can be runaways. Child Find offers families various services including free investigation and location services, free kidnapping prevention programs, free referral and support services and free mediation services for parental abduction cases. Each year, Child Find of America receives between 15,000-20,000 calls for help from searching parents, family members, law enforcement and other agencies, children and educators. Their efforts positively impact thousands of children and directly bring more than 400 children to a safe and legal environment every year. More information on Child Find of America can be found at www.childfindofamerica.org, and details about what you can do to help will be posted at www.RockstarUproar.com in the coming weeks.

“I have three daughters and they are the most important thing in my life,” says John Reese, Producer of UPROAR. “After the Chelsea King tragedy we made a conscious decision that we were going to make strong efforts to help ensure that something like that doesn’t happen again. Working with and supporting Child Find of America is something that is very near and dear to our hearts.”

Donna Linder, Executive Director of Child Find of America, explains: “We’re very excited by this great opportunity to increase awareness and knowledge about the issue of missing children to the general public, as well as opening an avenue to offer prevention and safety tips to a difficult-to-reach age demographic. The passion and energy the UPROAR team has expressed has been incredible and their generosity is deeply appreciated.”
