James Morrison has now sold more than half a million copies of his latest album The Awakening worldwide. The album is already one of the most successful male solo artist albums of the year in the UK and is on its’ way to becoming an international smash.

James said: “I’m delighted with the response to my album. It’s been wonderful for the record to be embraced on such a wide scale around the world”.

The Awakening – which peaked at #1 in Switzerland as well as the UK where it spent two weeks in the top spot – includes the lead single “I Won’t Let You Go” as well as “Up” – a stunning duet with the lovely Jessie J. “I Won’t Let You Go” sold 400k copies worldwide and was a #1 airplay record in UK, Austria and Germany, and top 15 airplay in Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland.
