“It is an absolute honor to be the headliner at such an amazing festival. It’s been a minute North Carolina…It’s good to be back. We can’t wait to see the masses at the Rebellion!” comments Brent Smith of Shinedown.

“Along with AEG Live, Right Arm is beyond excited to unleash the Carolina Rebellion lineup,” says Gary Spivack, co-executive producerof the festival for Right Arm Entertainment. “Like last year, it was our goal to make sure the 2012 lineup was stacked from top to bottom. Three stages of non-stop rock ‘n roll and a Friday night party to kick it all off…The ultimate rock festival in the Carolinas. Let the Rebellion begin!”

General Admission tickets for Carolina Rebellion go on sale to the public on Friday, February 17 at 10am EST at www.carolinarebellion.com and www.ticketmaster.com. Based on 2011 attendee feedback, Carolina Rebellion organizers have implemented various upgrades and vast venue improvements to provide a premier concert experience at the multi-stage rock festival. The new centrally-located site provides plenty of space to expand, including more food and beverage stands, merchandise stands, restrooms and parking, and also offers more traffic routes to and from the event.

“When our fans speak, we listen,” commented Joe Litvag, co-executive producer of the festival for AEG Live. “We personally responded to every person who sent us comments, and because of that important feedback, our motto this year is ‘Let’s double it!’ Double the number of entrance points into the festival, double the number of concession stands, double the number of merchandise stands, and double the number of locations for free water…We’re taking the steps to make Carolina Rebellion an upgraded experience for everyone.”

In addition, all ticket prices will include parking to ensure quicker access to the parking areas, and earlier entry into the parking areas and will be allowed, along with earlier door times, to better alleviate the traffic and lines. The inclusion of the new Camping Packages will encourage fans to arrive on Friday starting at 10am and stay until Noon on Sunday, thereby relieving traffic congestion on Saturday.

Further improvements to amenities include: a larger box office area for will call pickup, shade locations in public areas and the Hangover Recovery VIP Lounge area inside the festival grounds to allow those with VIP Lounge tickets to have a special place to enjoy the event.

“Our sponsors mean as much to us as our fans do,” added Litvag. “And without the support of music-centric companies like Monster Energy, who present our two main stages at Rebellion, we couldn’t put a festival of this size and scope on for the people.”

Carolina Rebellion is also proud to be sponsored by Jägermeister, Hangover Recovery, and f.y.e. – for your entertainment (which will be on site selling CDs and DVDs and will host band autograph signings throughout the festival day). Carolina Rebellion is produced by Right Arm Entertainment and AEG Live, the same team that produces the highly successful Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH. Tickets for the 2011 inaugural Carolina Rebellion sold out more than one month in advance and attendance exceeded 30,000.

Rockingham Speedway is located at 2152 N US HWY 1, Rockingham, NC, less than two hours from Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, Columbia and Greensboro.

Leave it to a band like KORN to continue to reinvent itself two decades and ten albums deep into its career. THE PATH OF TOTALITY—due out December 6 on Roadrunner Records—is an experimental album which finds KORN shifting gears and exploring new territory with some of the most important emerging producers on the electronic music scene today.

For THE PATH OF TOTALITY and its corresponding “P.O.T.” ballroom tour this November, the band will change course again by collaborating with the likes of leading U.S., U.K. and Dutch dubstep trailblazers Skrillex, Feed Me, Excision, Datsik, Noisia, Kill the Noise and 12th Planet on record as well as on stage. Expect something completely new, yet utterly and definitively KORN.

The band’s first offering from the album “Get Up!” with Skrillex was the surprise Top 10 rock hit of the summer, the buzz of which started in April in Coachella’s Sahara tent when Jonathan and Munky joined Skrillex on stage for a show-stealing unannounced performance of the song. Check out the track at: http://tinyurl.com/3q3rmqa. Now KORN has unleashed “Narcissistic Cannibal,” another creation with Skrillex and Kill the Noise at www.korn.com.

Other tracks on THE PATH OF TOTALITY include “Kill Mercy Within” and “Let’s Go” with untouchable Dutch production trio Noisia, Excision tracks “My Wall” and “Illuminati” with Downlink and “Way Too Far” per American dubstep pioneer 12th Planet. Deep bass turns come courtesy of the one and only Feed Me on “Bleeding Out.”

Look for KORN to kick off the first leg of their “Path of Totality (P.O.T.)” tour on November 3 at the House of Blues in Boston. The band will perform material from the new album as well as tracks from their extensive catalog. On each date, they will be supported by dubstep DJs Datsik and Downlink, as well as a live set by young upstart Dutch Dub-rockers Dope D.O.D. for an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind musical experience unlike any other KORN tour.

ROCK ON THE RANGE is celebrating its Fifth Anniversary! America’s premier destination rock festival–May 21-22at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio–will feature a spectacular lineup of rock heavyweights including A Perfect Circle (first performance of 2011), Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Korn, Stone Sour and Staind (first performance in two years). The unforgettable weekend will also be highlighted by performances from Danzig, Hollywood Undead, Bullet For My Valentine, Black Label Society and Alter Bridge. In addition, Juliya of Fuse TV will return as the Mistress of Ceremonies for the event.

“Three years ago my other band Ashes Divide was fortunate enough to play Rock On The Range as a support act; to return to the same festival and headline this year with A Perfect Circle is truly an honor,” says Billy Howerdel of A Perfect Circle.

“We are honored that Rock On The Range has asked us be one of the headliners,” says M Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold. “Not only is it an amazing show to be apart of, but it holds a deep spot in our hearts. Rock On The Range was the last American show we played with our best friend and drummer, The Rev. We are looking forward to continuing his legacy of rock n roll insanity that night! See you all there.”

“If you suffer from stimulus overload, the fifth anniversary of Rock On The Range may be too much for you,” quips Del Williams, co-executive producer of the event for Right Arm Entertainment. “Virtually all of the bands that make up the top of the Active Rock charts are performing at America’s biggest Rock festival. When you look at the acts on the bill, and think of the massive list of songs that live in the body of that lineup, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with excitement.”

The ROCK ON THE RANGE celebration will start early on Friday night, May 20 with the nation’s biggest pre-festival Anniversary Party at the venue, featuring performances from two of the world’s craziest throwback rock artists–Steel Panther and Lez Zeppelin. Best of all, your ticket to the Anniversary Party will be absolutely FREE with every ROCK ON THE RANGE weekend ticket purchase!

“It seems like only yesterday that we created this vision for an active rock festival in the heartland, but it’s actually been five years now.” comments Joe Litvag, co-executive producer of the event for AEG Live. “If it weren’t for the loyal fan base of active rock fans, the ‘Rangers,’ Rock On The Range would still just be an idea on the back of a napkin! We can’t think of a better way to say ‘thank you’ then to throw a big FREE party for everyone! It will be a night of unmatched celebration!”

A special ROCK ON THE RANGE ticket pre-sale will take place from Wednesday, February 9 at 10:00 AM (ET) through Friday, February 11 at 10:00 PM (ET). For details on pre-sale, go to: www.facebook.com/rockontherange. Tickets go on sale to the general public Saturday, February 12 at 10:00 AM (ET). Two-day weekend festival passes start at just $99.50 plus service and transaction fees. Layaway ticket purchase options are also still available for a limited time.

“We are extremely excited about the lineup for Rock On The Range’s Fifth Anniversary show at Crew Stadium,” said Mark McCullers, President & General Manager of the Columbus Crew, a co-executive Producer of Rock On The Range. “We are coming off another record year in 2010 and are looking forward to raising the bar again in 2011.”

ROCK ON THE RANGE–The Book is another new bonus for fans in connection with the fifth anniversary of the festival. This limited edition coffee-table photo book captures the first four years of ROTR and features behind-the-scenes photos, never-before-seen performance shots, and testimonials from past ROTR performers including Stone Temple Pilots, Slipknot, Slash, Godsmack, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, Rise Against and many more. As announced last month, Korn and Disturbed, two of rock’s biggest acts, are teaming up to co-headline this year’s “Monster Energy Music As A Weapon V Tour.” With the first half of dates on sale now and off to a scorching start, the highly successful Monster Energy’s MAAW V Tour has added even more dates and new markets: a second leg from March 8th through March 30th that will include stops in Las Vegas, Texas, the West Coast and many more.

Jonathan Davis of Korn and David Draiman of Disturbed on how the 45 city trek across America came about:

“We’ve both just finished great tours. We headlined Mayhem and Disturbed headlined Uproar. The Disturbed guys came out to see us play in Chicago and we got to talking about doing something together. We both agreed that as cool as those types of tours are, they usually only hit major markets, and we both agreed that a lot of our fans just don’t live in those cities- so we thought it would be cool to team up, put a big show together, and hit every great place that those big tours never get to. Besides all that, with us and Disturbed together, doing full shows with full production… all I can say is IT’S ON!” said the excited Korn frontman.

“We are thrilled to launch the Monster Energy Music As A Weapon V Tour with our good friends from Korn,” says Disturbed singer David Draiman. “Every year we try to up the ante, and this year, by having Korn co-headline, we really think it’s going to be our best tour yet. When the idea first came up, one of the main things both bands agreed upon and wanted to focus on was hitting a lot of smaller markets. It’s exciting to bring a show like this to cities that are usually skipped over on some of the other larger rock tours that only hit the major markets. We have a lot of loyal fans in these cities and we wanted to bring them a show that they deserve.”

Tickets for the first leg of the tour are on sale now and tickets for select dates on the second leg go on sale this weekend. The bands have decided that the first 1,000 tickets from each show will be sold at a $5 discount during the on-sale weekend to reward early ticket-buying fans.

“A lot of promoters only offer discounted tickets a day or two before the actual show date. We wanted to do something for the fans that are buying their tickets as soon as they go on sale. To offer a discount upfront made the most sense to us,” adds Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan.

“We’re tired of promoters offering discounted tickets to last minute folks in order to sell the seats in the back of the gig. We’d rather give our fans a discount for buying early,” said Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer.

On August 31st, 2010, Disturbed released their fifth studio album Asylum, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart. Asylum is the band’s fourth consecutive studio album to debut at No. 1, a feat achieved by only two other rock groups in history: Metallica and the Dave Matthews Band. An international hit with Top 10 chart bows across the globe, Asylum has earned critical praise from USA Today, which called it “a tight, sharp-riffed ride… the combo of aggressive roar and guitar grace recalls Metallica’s finest moments,” and the New York Daily News, which declared “On Asylum, Disturbed finely weigh power and delicacy, catchiness and punch. The subtle variety of the band’s tunesmanship, and the buoyancy of their rhythms make this hard group so easy to love.”

Over the last 16 years, Korn have established themselves as one of the biggest bands in the history of hard rock and metal, selling over 30 million albums worldwide. Their latest album, Korn III: Remember Who You Are, released on Roadrunner Records, debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts this year, with Metal Hammer proclaiming that fans would be “wiping away tears of recognition and delight when they blast it for the first, second, and 38th time.”

Danko Jones has officially announced the autumn leg of their 2010 concert tour featuring dates thoughout Europe supporting Ozzy, Korn, Guns N’ Roses (marking the fourth time this year that the international rockers will be touring with Guns N’ Roses) with a special stop to kick-off the NHL’s 2010-2011 season performing at the NHL Premiere game in Stockholm. Following, the band will headline a run of 30+ dates through November making stops throughout the Benelux, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, Spain and the UK, scheduled to return to the U.S. later this winter for a series of shows to be announced later this year.

Danko Jones’ latest single, “Full of Regret,” off the band’s album Below the Belt (Bad Taste Records/Caroline) is currently featured on the new NHL 2011 and NHL Slapshot video games (EA Sports), which includes some of music’s coolest and heaviest hitting songs. The game soundtrack is rounded out by more than 15 songs from artists including Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Black Keys, Pantera and Megadeth. Obvious huge fans of the sport, Danko Jones are slated perform at one of the world’s biggest sporting events, the NHL’s 2010-2011 season opening NHL Premiere game at Globe Arena in Stockholm on October 9th – an international event televised to more than 400 million homes across the globe.

The band’s latest venture, a highly-stylized, film-like music video noir for the song “Full of Regret,” described as “one-part ‘Sabotage,’ one-part Guy Ritchie, one-part Quentin Tarantino,” stars Elijah Wood and Selma Blair with featured guest appearances by Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead) and Mike Watt (Minutemen, fIREHOSE, Stooges). Shot in downtown Los Angeles, the video portrays Lemmy as a mob boss who hires hit men Elijah Wood and Selma Blair to take out the members of the band. Mike Watt plays the narrator as the action-packed story continues to unfold. View the entire video here: Full of Regret

Hailed by SPIN as “the world’s most entertaining hard rockers” and described by Maxim as “AC/DC sniffing glue with Motley Crue,” Danko Jones (vox/guitar), John Calabrese aka JC (bass), and Dan Cornelius (drums) have relentlessly toured the world over. Sharing stages with everyone from hard rock icons Motörhead and Sepultura to rock heavyweights Guns N’ Roses and Nickelback to musical legends the Rolling Stones, the Toronto trio may very well be one of the best, or worst, kept secrets in music today.

Korn is once again reinventing itself and doing something completely innovative, nine albums and two decades into its incredible career. The band will perform for an hour and twenty minutes inside the mysterious crop circle that was recently revealed in the final installment of a viral web campaign. The band worked closely with longtime UK-based circle makers, circlemakers.org, on the shadowy design which features a series of intricate circles, one of which includes the iconic Korn logo, and stretches over 920 feet long and 350 feet wide. The concert event, which is a first for a rock band, takes inspiration from the eerie atmosphere of Pink Floyd’s legendary “Live at Pompeii.” The concert will make its North American broadcast premiere on HDNet on Sunday, July 11 at 8 PM ET and will have a worldwide online premiere on Monday, July 12 via MySpace in countries all over the world.

Over the last month, web watchers were exposed to mysterious, unexplainable footage shot from a wheat field near Korn‘s native Bakersfield, California. The viral series lead many to wonder what was going on and what exactly Korn had in store for their loyal fans. Well, the time has come to find out what is really going on with these ominous “signs.” The band will perform several songs from Korn III – Remember Who You Are, their new album which is due out July 13. Korn will also dip into their beloved catalog and play numerous classics and fan favorites, which certainly ups the event’s “must see” status.

Be sure and tune into the “Krop” circle broadcast – you will not be disappointed. Here are some viral clips surrounding the event for your viewing pleasure:
