Singer, songwriter, producer, Mike Posner will be premiering the music video for his second single “Please Don’t Go” exclusively on the iTunes Store on October 12th. The artfully crafted video was directed by acclaimed direction team BB Gun (Kid Cudi, J. Cole) and shot in Los Angeles in late September.

“Please Don’t Go”, the second single from Posner’s debut album 31 Minutes to Takeoff (J Records) is currently skyrocketing up the charts, about to break into the Top 20 at Top 40.

Posner’s explosive first single “Cooler Than Me” reached the #3 position on the Top 40 Chart and has sold 2 million downloads, securing it’s position as one of the summer’s biggest hits.

Critics have been praising Posner and the album, with Rolling Stone saying “Mike Posner is at the head of a new genre…” and praising it’s “…big, club-friendly synth hooks”. Entertainment Weekly called it “…sly, electro-pop…” and USA Today stated it is “…breezily infectious…”

Earlier this month Posner, who is currently a MySpace Music “Introducing…” artist, debuted his weekly SIRIUS XM show, The Mike Posner Show, which airs on SIRIUS XM’s Faction, SIRIUS channel 28 and XM channel 52 Friday nights at 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT. Mike’s official iphone app (http://bit.ly/posnerapp) was released July 1st and has been downloaded by thousands of fans since its release.

Posner is currently on his first headlining club tour, The Up In The Air Tour, produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Karmaloop.com. Tickets are available now at LiveNation.com. The Up In The Air Tour will make 22 stops at premier clubs throughout the country, with shows confirmed through mid-October.

In mid-May the Los Angeles Times declared “Mike Posner is on a quest to be pop’s next best thing.” This was about a week after Posner opened for Drake at his sold out Nokia Theater show and a mere four days after he walked across the stage in Durham, North Carolina to receive his bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Duke University. In March of 2009, Posner’s first mixtape A Matter of Time (recorded in his dorm room) rose to the #1 position on iTunesU, promptly garnering him the attention of major labels. After signing a deal with J Records that summer, Posner returned to Duke to finish up his course load, all the while beginning work on his debut album, self-releasing his second free mixtape One Foot Out The Door (featuring collaborations with 3Oh!3, Bun B, Kid Cudi, Wale) through iTunesU and rocking shows every weekend at colleges and festivals across the country. 22 year old Mike Posner hails from Southfield, MI and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. He graduated from Duke University in May 2010 with a BA in Sociology and Business.

Producer and musician Cisco Adler, best known for his work in alterna-rap duo Shwazye, is preparing to debut his new solo project. Adler recently finished work on the albums of Mike Posner, Big B, G Love and Dirt Nasty. He will be introducing previously unreleased solo music as well as some new material he has started writing for an upcoming album. Adler says to expect “hip hop to its soul, rock to its core; jazzy-reggae-folk-tronica with a little Frank Sinatra thrown in.” In other words, a little of everything.
Cisco Adler and the Pigeons will play their debut show on Saturday, August 28th at legendary Roxy Theater in Hollywood, CA, as part of the 3rd annual Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF). The festival runs from August 26th-28th and will include established headliners such as Slash, The Smashing Pumpkins, Kid Cudi, and Common. It will also serve as a platform for up-and-coming artists.

Adler recently released “The Rough Demos”—three brand new solo songs, online for free on his bandcamp page. All of the tracks feature Adler’s ever-present California sound and distinctive production style. “Body Language” has a catchy, classic vibe to it, showcasing upbeat piano and horns. “California King” invokes the laid-back, SoCal theme that Adler is proudly known for. He mellows it out with a stripped-down, acoustic alt-country love song, “Maybe Never.” The range of styles and influences continues to demonstrate Adler’s breadth as a musician.

“I’ve been making music since music made me, and I’m going back to my roots and creating music simply for the love of it. I look forward to releasing some of my old stuff, as well as writing new material for my fans and I can’t think of a more appropriate venue to debut this project at than the The Roxy Theater,” Adler said.

Fans can download the demos free at: http://ciscoadlerpresents.bandcamp.com/.

2AM Club announce late summer / fall tour dates in support of their highly anticipated debut album What Did You Think Was Going To Happen? (RCA Records) which will be released on September 14th. In August they will be joining Chiddy Bang on their national club tour and will follow that up by participating in the MTVU VMA Tour which will hit select Six Flags theme parks. In September 2AM Club will hit the road with Mike Posner on “The Up In The Air” national tour.

Fresh off their July 13th performance on ABC Family’s hit summer show Pretty Little Liars, 2AM Club have been named MTV’s PUSH (Play Until Someone Hears) Artist for the week of August 2nd and the video for their first single “Worry About You” has been added to MTV rotation. MTV’s PUSH campaign is their newest artist intensive image/awareness campaign. Each campaign lasts a week and spotlights the artist on channel and on-line across their network. Past PUSH artists have included: Phoenix, Drake, Travie McCoy, Jason Derulo, and BoB.

The 6 members of 2AM Club —vocalists Marc Griffin and Tyler Cordy, guitarist Matt Reagan, keyboard player Dave Dalton, drummer Ian O’Neill and bassist Matt Warshauer, AKA “Sauce”—bring a diverse array of influences to the table (Jay Z to the Beatles, Duran Duran to the Beastie Boys, Stevie Wonder to The Strokes), effortlessly synthesizing the very best of all that has come before them to create music that is resoundingly modern.

One part Seattle, one part Bay Area and one part Northeast, the group came together in Los Angeles in 2007 and honed their skills playing the local college scene before heading up and down the West Coast, booking, producing, and headlining their own gigs. After recording some demos with Jerry Harrison—a former member of the Talking Heads and Modern Lovers—2AM Club played a now-legendary four-month residency they called “Tiny Porno” at the Derby in L.A., and word quickly spread that it was the place to be. They then picked up and transplanted to NYC to record What Did You Think Was Going To Happen? with producers Sam Hollander and Dave Katz (Boys Like Girls, Katy Perry, Gym Class Heroes).

Far East Movement (also known as FM) have bridged the gap between underground party records and mainstream hip-hop and pop. They blend elements of hip-hop, pop, electro and dance to create an original sound and lifestyle they call ‘Free Wired’. The group translates this ‘Free Wired’ way of life by constantly staying interactive and living the lifestyle it promotes. Whether it’s their weekly music show on www.cherrytreeradio.com, blogging everyday on www.fareastmovement.com or uploading a series of FM Satellite webisodes they shoot on the road with their ‘spy cams’ they always stay free to “’geek out’ 25 hours a day, 8 days a week.”

Growing up together in Los Angeles, the guys were influenced by the thriving downtown LA scene and a wide array of music from fellow West Coast classics like the Pharcyde and Dr Dre, to the dance music of DJ Tiesto and Daft Punk, to LA rockers like Guns N Roses, Linkin Park and Blink 182. “Our musical inspiration is as large as what we can hold on our iPods.”

Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman, always donning stylish shades, skinny ties, and shiny blazers and fresh kicks have taken the current Los Angeles club scene global, already having to their credit two world tours, numerous song placements on television and film, and a # 1 song on Los Angeles radio all before they even dropped their debut album, appropriately titled, Free Wired, scheduled for a fall 2010 release on Cherrytree Records/Interscope. The album features appearances from Snoop Dogg, Lil’ Jon, and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.

Far East Movement are currently wrapping up the “All Hearts Tour” with Dan Black, Kelis and their Cherrytree Records’ labelmate Robyn. Catch them on the upcoming Lazer Tag tour with Hypercrush in August and on tour with Mike Posner in the fall.

Get to know more about FM and the free wired way of life in their video for “Like A G6″ featuring The Cataracs and Dev. The track is available on iTunes now.
