As synth–pop sensation La Roux’s second single “In For The Kill” heads to radio, the stunning video to accompany the track will premiere worldwide today via MySpace. Directed by LEGS (Goldfrapp’s “Alive”), the video was shot at the historic and legendary Hotel Chelsea in NYC made famous by the eclectic and artistic musicians who have made it their home in the past, these include Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Dylan Thomas and Sid Vicious, amongst others. The video is a dark and lusciously rich view into the hotel’s seedy underbelly through the eyes of La Roux’s Elly Jackson who finds herself acting the part of night porter. You can also catch an exclusive interview with Elly and behind the scenes footage from the “In For The Kill” video set on Thursday at 5pm ET/PT on MTV’s new daily show, “The Seven”.

La Roux has caught America’s attention with the smash hit of the summer “Bulletproof,” their critically-acclaimed self-titled debut and thrilling performances on Ellen, Good Morning America and most recently, The View. The band are set to embark on a national headlining tour this fall and have just announced that fellow Cherrytree Records label-mates Far East Movement, whose “Like A G6” is at #1 on iTunes this week, will be joining the tour on select dates. New York-based Francis and the Lights, just off of tours with Drake and MGMT have been slated to kick off the evening. Scheduled to begin November 1st at The Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, the tour will take La Roux across the country before wrapping at Terminal 5 in New York City on November 17th. Tickets are available for all dates via Ticketmaster.

What began in London’s burgeoning underground warehouse scene has since landed 22-year-old Elly Jackson, co-producer co-songwriter co-hort Ben Langmaid and their glittering self titled debut a long and impressive list of accolades and millions of fans internationally. Sizzling first single “Bulletproof” has become an instant summer hit climbing the Top 40 charts and making itself at home in the Top 10 with the track selling well over 1.8 million copies on our shores already.

With a little over a month to go until the release of their anticipated fifth album, Attack of the Wolf King, HASTE THE DAY are unleashing the dogs on rabid fans with the release of the album’s second track, ‘Dog Like Vultures.’

Starting today, the track can be streamed on the band’s MySpace page at:

“‘Dog Like Vultures’ is crucial part of this record,” explains vocalist Stephen Keech. “It shows all elements of the record and sums up the new sound of HASTE THE DAY. The record is a concept album about a herd of sheep being protected by lions from a pack of bloodthirsty wolves. This song is where the Lions vow unyielding protection over the sheep. Promising that “no fang will breach your fleece” and “their blood with flow like water.” It has one of my favorite chorus’ on the record and we are proud to release it.”

Available in stores June 29th via longtime label Solid State Records, Attack of the Wolf King shows a band who are already amongst the metalcore elite reaching frenzied new heights for what, nine years into their existence, could be their career-defining album. Recorded in Richmond with veteran producer Andreas Magnusson (THE BLACK DHALIA MURDER, OH SLEEPER, etc), Attack Of The Wolf King marks the next chapter for HASTE THE DAY, whose impressive resume includes more than a quarter million albums sold and legions of fans worldwide.

The band has announced a summer headlining tour in support of Attack of the Wolf King from June 4 to July 2, and will follow that up with a stint on the Vans Warped Tour from July 20 to August 15th.
