New Saint Motel “1997″ Video

SAINT MOTEL is pleased to release their video for the single “1997″ from their recently released LP Voyeur. Directed by the band’s very own A/J Jackson, the video takes place at The Dresden in Los Angeles and centers on a sinister version of the world famous lounge singers, Marty & Elayne. The lounge singing duo takes the band on an out of body experience through their captivating performance of “1997″.

The band is currently on a national headlining tour with support on the bulk of the tour from RACES (Frenchkiss), see dates below.

Ticket Giveaway: Saint Motel 7/28 Glasslands Brooklyn

Saint Motel kick off their New York invasion on Friday night at Mercury Lounge (tickets). We’re pretty sure that the show is close to selling out. Saturday night, Saint Motel plays Glasslands in Brooklyn. When the band played there last summer, it was a SICK SHOW! Saint Motel put everything into that performance, they bled for the crowd! (read our review).

Song of the Day: Saint Motel – “1997″

Few things make us happier than to hear that Saint Motel will be releasing their debut full length album this summer! Voyeur is set to be released on July 10th. The band’s new single “1997″ is up online now streaming and for download. It has that holiday tune feel to it. It’s really great. Listen to it (and download it) below:

The Audio Perv and Knuckle Rumbler Present: PERVEYORS OF ROCK 3/14 Austin TX

2012 marks our THIRD year of heading down to Austin, TX for SXSW. We’ve partied with some great friends in the past and we’re ready to party some more! Working with our friends at Knuckle Rumbler, we’re proud to present PERVEYORS OF ROCK!!!

On Wednesday, March 14th, we’re holding a tremendous day party at Peckerhead’s (402 E. 6th Street) that features a great mix of rock bands that will have you partying with us from NOON til 8PM!

One of our favorite bands, Saint Motel, kicked off their national tour a few weeks ago in San Diego. Tomorrow night, they headline the Mercury Lounge in New York City. These guys are so so so good. We’re not just music bloggers here talking, we’re fans. The band just released their first vinyl which features “At Least I Have Nothing” and “Puzzle Pieces.” The last few times Saint Motel has played in NYC, they’ve played with Ariel Pink, Amazing Baby and MUTEMATH and we couldn’t get tickets! Not only are we going to this show tomorrow night but we have a pair to GIVE AWAY FOR FREE TO ONE LUCKY READER!

Saint Motel Announce Headlining U.S. Tour

Off the heels of their first vinyl release, 7″1, Los Angeles-based indie pop quartet Saint Motel are pleased to announce their upcoming national headline tour. Kicking off in San Diego on February 8th, the band will embark on their spring tour culminating at SXSW. A full list of dates is below.

With sophisticated savvy and singularity, the Los Angeles quartet Saint Motel has built a formidable reputation for itself on the back of inventive indie pop and wildly fun live shows.
