“Limp Bizkit is back, more dangerous and contagious than ever with our original lineup, NEW album Gold Cobra, and EPICENTER to take your rock and roll fantasy past the extreme,” says Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit. “I promise this will be a party you do NOT want to miss. EPICENTER will be our first and only Southern California shindig. And fellas, don’t be mad that EPICENTER will be filled with women…that’s how we roll.”

EPICENTER will feature 12 hours of rock music with performances from over a dozen bands on two stages, including: Limp Bizkit, Staind, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, P.O.D., Puddle Of Mudd, Asking Alexandria, Skillet, Redlight King, Middle Class Rut and Drive A.

From the opening band all the way through Limp Bizkit’s first area show in a decade, EPICENTER will be a non-stop day of amazing entertainment.”

“I’m excited about our partnership with Right Arm Entertainment,” says Rich Best, Senior Vice President of Booking for Live Nation/So-Cal. “After just two years, EPICENTER is now known as one of the major festivals of the summer concert season. Credibility with the audience is everything, and with EPICENTER, rock fans know they are going to get a killer lineup at a great value. We can’t wait to get started on the 2011 edition.“

On June 14th, Warner Bros. Records will release the album to the hotly anticipated motion picture Transformers: Dark of the Moon — the third film in the Oscar®-nominated summer blockbuster Transformers series, which hits theaters nationwide on June 29th. The album will feature the rock radio mix of “Awake & Alive” from Skillet, which earned the band their first No. 1 Active Rock hit. The track was also the first No. 1 Active Rock hit to feature female vocals in the charts nearly 14-year history.

“I am a junkie for these kind of movies so to have ‘Awake & Alive’ included on the Transformers: Dark of the Moon album is one of the coolest things that we could have happen,” comments Skillet frontman John Cooper. “I’ll be one of the first in line to see the film when it hits theaters this summer.”

Recently, Skillet took home their first Billboard Music Award, garnering further recognition for the gold certified AWAKE which boasts three active rock hits. Their fourth single, “It’s Not Me, It’s You” will impact rock radio formats on June 7th. Named one of the top 5 “Hardest Working Bands of 2010” on the popular concert site Songkick and known for their explosive live performace, Skillet will be touring most of the summer. The first annual Avalanche Tour brings together some of the biggest names in rock for a massive North American winter trek. This year’s tour runs from March 24-May 8 and features Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Skillet, Halestorm and Art Of Dying. Tickets for most shows go on sale Saturday, February 5. A special fan club pre-sale will begin Tuesday, February 1 through Artist Arena. Visit www.AvalancheTour.com for more details.

Three-time Grammy nominees Stone Sour entered the Billboard 200 chart at #6 with 2010’s Audio Secrecy (Roadrunner Records), featuring the Active Rock singles “Say You’ll Haunt Me,” which was #1 at Active Rock for 8 weeks, and “Hesitate.” Audio Secrecy marks the group’s third studio release and follows their gold-certified Come What(ever) May album, which debuted at #4. The quintet–vocalist Corey Taylor, guitarists James Root and Josh Rand, bassist Shawn Economaki and drummer Roy Mayorga–have returned with a broadened range, a deepened perspective and the determination to make new album Audio Secrecy a multi-layered record free of stylistic limitations. Stone Sour recorded Audio Secrecy with Come What(ever) May producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Deftones) at Nashville’s Blackbird Studios. “SO stoked to be a part of the Avalanche Tour!” Taylor exclaims. “We’ve been looking for the right tour to headline and this is definitely it. We’re already working on an amazing show, the kind we have NEVER done before. We’re gonna rip these stages to shreds and leave the audience with crazy eyes and sore throats! Here we go!!”

Vancouver trio Theory of a Deadman is touring in support of Scars & Souvenirs, which has sold over 900,000 copies and is rapidly approaching platinum status. The album features the #1 Mainstream Rock track “Bad Girlfriend.” Scars & Souvenirs (604/Roadrunner Records) is a broad-reaching endeavor that puts lead vocalist/guitarist Tyler Connolly, guitarist Dave Brenner and bassist Dean Back high in the rock pantheon, achieving creative growth without sacrificing the hard-hitting power that got them here in the first place. The disc was produced by Grammy-nominated Howard Benson and is the polished and passionate testament to seven years of hard work, heavy touring and diligent attention to craft. Theory of a Deadman will release a new album this summer as well. “After almost a year off writing and recording our new record, we’re so pumped to be back on the road playing for our fans!” says Connolly. “Along with some great bands and some great friends it’s gonna be a ‘not to be missed’ tour for sure. Who knows, maybe we’ll pull out a new song or two for the crowds.”

Rounding out the Avalanche lineup, Atlantic rockers Skillet are currently enjoying the success of their latest studio effort Awake. Certified Gold by the RIAA, Awake hit the ground running with a blockbuster debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and also entered at No. 1 on iTunes’ “Top Albums” chart and “Top Rock” chart. The accolades have continued to pile up for the two-time Grammy-nominated rockers as Awake was recently named Billboard’s #9 Top Alternative Album and #14 Top Rock Album of 2010, while the group landed at # 7 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Album Artist chart. Awake has already seen three Active Rock smashes including “Monster,” “Hero,” which was used by the NFL in their Sunday Night Football and NFL Weekend Kickoff promos, and their latest hit and crowd favorite “Awake & Alive.” Like true road warriors, Skillet’s relentless tour schedule has not slowed down. As the group’s cumulative sales approach two million, they continue to build upon their powerful live show, bringing down the house from coast to coast. For up-to-the-minute news and information, visit www.skillet.com or www.facebook.com/skillet.

Atlantic Records band Halestorm scored a Top 5 debut on SoundScan’s “Hard Music” chart with Halestorm in 2009, simultaneously exploding into the Top 40 on the comprehensive Billboard 200. Produced by Howard Benson (Daughtry, My Chemical Romance, Flyleaf), the album is a volatile collection of infectious hard rock anthems, sexy hooks, and rough and tumble grooves. Last fall, Halestorm released Live In Philly 2010, a live CD/DVD recorded and filmed last April at the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA. “Bet U Wish U Had Me Back,” the band’s current single, hit rock radio at the end of last year and is currently Top 40 on the Active Rock chart. Formed by Lzzy Hale and her brother, drummer Arejay, when they were just 13 and 10 years old (respectively), Halestorm has made its bones as a major league hard rock outfit via countless North American gigs alongside such like-minded artists as Shinedown, Seether, Flyleaf, and Trapt. For up-to-the-minute news and tour information, visit Halestorm at www.halestormrocks.com, www.myspace.com/halestorm, and www.twitter.com/halestormrocks.

Art Of Dying is a five-piece rock band fronted by Jonny Hetherington. The Vancouver, Canada based group is the newest signing to Reprise Records/Intoxication Records, the label started by David Draiman and Dan Donegan of the multi-platinum selling band Disturbed. Art of Dying has completed recording in Los Angeles with producer Howard Benson for their 2011 worldwide debut, and they are thrilled to now be part of the Warner family. The band has built a dedicated international following since 2006 touring with Disturbed and Seether, as well as performing at international festivals Download and The Virgin Festival alongside artists such as Tool, Metallica and 3 Doors Down. Fans around the world have connected with the song “Get Through This,” a true story of struggle and hope, which has led to a heavy following online, where Art Of Dying has topped the independent charts and developed a loyal fan base.

When Papa Roach asked for some radical crash & burn footage and berserk stomped landings to include in their new “Kick in the Teeth” video off their new album Time For Annihilation … On The Record and On The Road, Monster Energy’s action sports social networking site – MonsterArmy.com – stepped up and delivered the goods!

And leading that charge was Colorado’s Nick Steffens, 23, who hooked Papa Roach up with what would become the cornerstone of the band’s “Kick in the Teeth” mantra – a crippler skateboard slam off a picnic table grind gone awry at the opening of the video that had all the band members going “That’s the one!”

Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3jpm4Yv9j0&sns=em

I’d tell Nick – and the rest of the Monster Army – no matter how many times you’ve been kicked when you’re down or how rough it gets out there, if you stick to your guns, chase your dreams and trudge the f@#king road, you’re going to be alright. And that’s what ‘Kick in the Teeth’ is all about,” says Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix.

Reached at his home in Grand Junction, Nick Steffens – whose video was submitted by his buddy Brett Buescher – was floored when told he won. “Dude, that’s sick,” said Steffens. “Brett told me he submitted it. Pretty crazy. I’d kind of forgotten about it, then Brett texted me … I couldn’t believe it. We’re gonna have a blast next week.”

The winning video shows a then 18-year-old Steffens eating shit off a nollie-to-5/0 grind attempt at a local Grand Junction skateboard park, walloping his head off the concrete to the tune of an emergency room visit. “The doctors said I strained my neck muscles. All I know is that was five years ago and my neck’s still messed up. But whatever, I deal with it,” he said.

As the Grand Prize winner Nick will received airfare, lodging and tickets/backstage passes for two to the 2010 Sept. 24-26 Epicenter Festival in Fontana, Calif. … a Schecter Solo Special Guitar, of course autographed by the band … a bitchin’ Hyper BMX bike … Papa Roach concert T-shirt and Time For Annihilation – On The Record and One The Road CD … a year’s supply of Monster Energy O.G. and a custom Monster Fridge to keep it cool!

Papa Roach recently announced plans to join forces with Skillet and destroy crowds across the US with their Monsters of Annihilation tour beginning October 1st in Myrtle Beach, SC at The House of Blues. Full tour dates below.

The band included a hidden track on the record, a first in philanthropy, to encourage fans to text to donate as they do live in concert. In addition, the band will be visiting the Los Angeles Mission food bank as volunteers to celebrate their album release and continued partnership with WhyHunger. On their upcoming tour dates, the band will be auctioning off VIP experiences with all proceeds going to WhyHunger.

Jacoby Shaddix said, “We wanted to use the press we were doing around the album to help raise awareness for the cause, we made a commitment to WhyHunger and are just as passionate about it as we are the music. We want to make sure we walk the walk and not just talk the talk, hopefully it inspires people to do the same.”

Papa Roach continues to fortify their reputation as one of the best live bands regardless of genre and recently electrified the 100,000 plus audience at this year’s Sonisphere festival in the UK with an explosive performance of which Metal Hammer said, “The Roach are sensational for every second they are onstage. P Roach came, saw and kicked everyone’s ass.” In addition, ESPN is using the lead track throughout the network’s programming for the entire month of August to pump up the excitement of their comprehensive sports coverage including this years summer X-Games. Continuing it’s energizing force, Papa Roach and Monster Energy have partnered in an online contest for fans to submit user-generated extreme sports clips which will be cut together as a new video for “Kick in the Teeth.”

Making their first U.S. concert appearance in four years – and playing their only U.S. show in 2010 – GUNS N’ ROSES has been officially recruited with DAUGHTRY to join the inaugural ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL and cement its assault on the legendary Sturgis Rally’s 70th Anniversary celebration in Sturgis, SD, at the newly constructed Rock N’ Rev Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA.

GUNS N’ ROSES will headline the fifth and final night of the festival, as it moves to the Brand New Rock ‘N Rev Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA in Sturgis, adjacent to its original location. L.A.’s notorious rock ‘n’ roll bad boys – one of Q magazine’s “50 Bands to See Before You Die” – have combined forces with HDlogix and DC3 Global for this rare and very special appearance on home soil to bring the “full-out rock ‘n’ roll spectacle” (Spin) of their 2010 “Chinese Democracy World Tour” to Sturgis and finish off the hijacking of the world’s biggest, baddest biker event, Monday, Aug. 9 through Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.

GUNS N’ ROSES’ final night performance, immediately following previously announced Aug. 13 headliner Alice in Chains, is the ultimate climax to five full nights of undeniable rock ‘n’ roll bedlam, and now gives the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL six of the most explosive, multi-platinum AMERICAN Active Rock Bands of 2010. DAUGHTRY, supporting its second consecutive #1 album, will join 3 Doors Down, Hinder and others on Aug. 12, the 4th night of the ROCK N’ REV FESTIVAL.

In order to welcome GUNS N’ ROSES and DAUGHTRY to the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL, new festival owners HDlogix and its producers, DC3 Global, are starting construction immediately on the Rock N’ Rev Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA, a new custom-built amphitheater on a 25-acre site at Monkey Rock designed to maximize logistical opportunities while enhancing the overall experience for everyone attending – from the bands to the fans.

“We are truly blessed to be able to announce the addition of GUNS N’ ROSES at this historic moment in the band’s history, along with DAUGHTRY, just as we relocate the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL to our own Amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA,” said DC3’s co-founder, Daniel E. Catullo III. “Monkey Rock’s vision to create a nationally recognized brand among the world’s top motorcycle rallies is a perfect fit for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them as our partners.”

ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL’s relationship with Glencoe Campground is amicable amid the change in logistics. As such, they are working together to arrange special VIP accommodations at the festival for all Glencoe campers that week.

Raising the insanity level to previously unimaginable heights, GUNS N’ ROSES and DAUGHTRY are just the latest high octane multi-platinum rockers to join the growing list of bands at the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL. They unite with fellow headliners Stone Temple Pilots, Godsmack, Creed, Alice in Chains and 3 Doors Down to establish the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL as “The Home of Rock’s Hardest New Chart Toppers” – a different one topping each night’s lineup.

Tickets for the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL are $45 per day, general admission ($150 for a five-day pass), and ON SALE NOW through Ticketmaster.com and rocknrevfestival.com and at all Ticketmaster locations, or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Tickets also will be available in person beginning August 5, 2010 on location at the Festival’s on-site box office. For more information on exclusive VIP packages ($150 for a single day, $300 for all five days or $1,000 5 day platinum packages), including backstage access to a VIP area to special, air-conditioned tents with private bars, motorcycle parking, luxury bathroom facilities and more, go to rocknrevfestival.com.

With an unrivaled lineup of twenty bands over five nights and spectacular fireworks displays each night at Monkey Rock USA, the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL promises to be the hands-down largest party ever thrown at the world’s largest motorcycle event, which annually draws over a half million patrons. World famous showman Jim Rose and his circus are set to emcee the five-day event and help give attendees a show they will never forget.

ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL’s sweltering lineup also includes Three Days Grace, Hellyeah, Cage The Elephant, Theft, Sweet Cyanide, Charm City Devils, Rev Theory, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darling Stilettos (featuring former GNR drummer Matt Sorum), Pop Evil, Skillet, and Swayback — just some of the bands making massive music at this colossal biker bash.

Everything about the ROCK ‘N REV FESTIVAL will appeal to the “leather and chrome” sensibilities in everyone who attends…from those who embody the biker lifestyle to the more casually minded weekend warriors and their families. The Vendor Village will be overflowing with an assortment of food, clothing, gear and other accessories, top tattoo artists and the best barbeque and related cooking specialists from the nation’s sauciest hotspots such as Austin, Memphis, Chicago, and New Orleans. The overall Mardi Gras atmosphere will recall some of Europe’s top festivals, with a decidedly American flair. After all, biking and rock ‘n’ roll are two of America’s greatest heritages.
