The Lonely Island performed “I’m On A Boat” (Yeah!) on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night (5/12). It’s the first time that I’ve seen a music performance that had that much swearing on these late night tv shows. It’s not that I minded it, it was just something different. Check it out inside.
Green Day will be playing the season finale of Saturday Night Live on May 16th (hosted by Will Ferrell). This makes it even more likely that the band will be playing Bowery Ballroom in NYC two nights later as SNL is broadcast live from New York (wow that unintentionally sounded like the cheesy opening on the show).
Green Day also announced yesterday a full summer tour starting July 3rd in Seattle, WA and be wrapping up on August 26th with two shows in Los Angeles. The tour will be in support of “21st Century Breakdown” (May 15th Reprise Records), their first album in over four years. Check out the dates inside.
