Dance Gavin Dance’s DOWNTOWN BATTLE MOUNTAIN TOUR Feat. Return of Jonny Craig & Jon Mess

Sacramento, CA’s Dance Gavin Dance have laid out details for their upcoming Downtown Battle Mountain Tour 2011, which kicks off March 10th at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. The tour marks the official return of original front men Jon Mess and Jonny Craig (Emarosa, Isles & Glaciers).

DGD Drummer Matt Mingus tells fans, “We are all really excited to be back with the original line up! The new album is already mostly written and so far we are all very pleased with the way things are turning out! We can’t wait for you to hear the finished product!”

Dance Gavin Dance is currently holed up in the studio, recording the long awaited follow up to 2009’s Happiness. The new album, titled Downtown Battle Mountain Pt. II (the sequel to the 2007 best seller, Downtown Battle Mountain) will be released March 8th on Rise Records, to coincide with the tour.

Dance Gavin Dance is also confirmed to perform on the entire Vans Warped tour in 2011.

Envy On The Coast To Release LOWCOUNTRY March 30th On Photo Finish Records

On March 30th, Long Island, NY’s Envy On The Coast will release its second full-length, LowCountry. To celebrate the band has added two new songs, “Numb” and “Devil’s Tongue”, to its MySpace page and has launched various preorder packages in the Photo Finish Records web store.

Pre-order the digital album or the physical CD for $10 at http://bit.ly/lowcountry, and on March 2nd, receive a download of “Headfirst in the River”, a new track off of LowCountry. The album will be shipped and/or available for download on release date, March 30th.

Twin Atlantic Announce First US Tour This Spring

Scottish rockers Twin Atlantic will make their long-awaited US touring debut this spring opening a national co-headlining tour with The Fall Of Troy and Envy On The Coast. Recently featured on the cover of the UK’s celebrated Rock Sound Magazine, Twin Atlantic will showcase songs from their debut mini-album Vivarium on stages from coast to coast, including a stop at SXSW.

Twin Atlantic have shared stages with Smashing Pumpkins, Circa Survive and Taking Back Sunday in the past and recently received praise from Alternative Press, Nylon and more.
