Lil Wayne, who has the #2 album in the country right now, has been caught with stealing from The Rolling Stones. He didn’t think that anyone would catch on (or care) that his song “Playing with Fire” sorta sounds like The Rolling Stones “Play with Fire”. When I say sorta sounds like, I mean the music’s very similar and Lil Wayne didn’t even change the lyrics much. Doesn’t Lil Wayne know that you don’t mess with the Stones? You can’t sample anything from them. Ask Richard Ashcroft and The Verve. They wrote a hit song Bittersweet Symphony and made no money off of it. The Rolling Stones have so much control that you can’t even say “I can’t get no… satisfaction” out loud. If you do, you owe Mick Jagger five bucks for everytime you say it. No joke.
